Do this 1 thing to dominate the 3rd Shot Drop!👇 I’m sure the anticipation is killing you, so here it is: The most common mistake I see in a player’s drop is too big of a backswing. This may seem simple, but the easiest way to improve your drop consistency immediately is to SHORTEN UP YOUR SWING! The bigger your swing, the more prone you are to mistakes! Bonus Tip: Make sure you’re doing everything you can to contact the ball in front of your body, when possible! Give this a try next time you’re on the court and SUBSCRIBE for daily tips like this one!🔥 It’s literally FREE to SUBSCRIBE and improve daily!

I would say topspin if they are a tennis player or in general if you want a more consistent shot and want to push them back. If not use slice to their backhand, because most peoples backhands are much weaker.

It’s an awesome thought, and I think it has merit, but only as long as you do it before your shot, not during. Otherwise, you’re going to look up, instead of keeping your eyes on the ball.

Here’s How it Works!👇 1) Dink cross-court or straight on only 2) If someone pops up a ball, it can be attacked 3) The goal is 100 dinks in a row (higher for advanced players) 4) As soon as someone misses, you must remove 20 from your total count (if you are at 80 dinks in a row when someone messes up, you must go back to 60) Can you make it to 100???

It is very important to use the same balls. I have found with different balls that the machine is VERY inconsistent with different balls

How about learning to become a harder banger then they. Also The ball being around waist level height when striking the ball and aiming for the top of the net is what I do when I rip the ball. IMO the best way to beat a banger is hit to there backhand side if they do not have a powerful two handed backhand. That way you take away their opportunity from them to drive the ball or learn how to do 3rd shot drops into the kitchen and try to win the point through dinking. Another way to beat a banger is to direct the power of their ball where they are not by blocking the ball in the direction you want it to go which already has enough power on it already so you do not have to try and put addition power when you place it where they are not.

If you keep your drives deep and low, if you can drop and reset, if you can aim at your opponent's feet, if you can let out balls go, and all that you will beat everybody not just bangers.

@picklebrainpod How many years of pb practice does it take to master keeping drives low, drops, resets, and aiming at the feet? I've been playing pb for a year and still don't have those skills.
@picklebrainpodАй бұрын
@@AnnMitt I would suggest just drilling these shots over and over. It will be a lot faster than years… You can do it much sooner if you put in the reps!🎉

Attack Tip!👇 Someone will tell you never to attack off the bounce. This is just bad advice. You can certainly attack off the bounce sparingly, but you need to know how… When attacking off the bounce, do your best to make the lead up to the attack look the same as your typical dink. Try to avoid a big wind up or back swing, which is a tell for the opponent that you are going to speed up! Instead, do your best to make it look like a dink and then speed up at the last second. Lastly, don’t try this without practicing it first. We would suggest a lot of repetition prior to using it in an actual game or match. SUBSCRIBE for daily tips like this one!🧠

When attacking, ALWAYS…👇 … swing your paddle in a low to high motion, UNLESS it’s an overhead (the ball height is over your head).👇 In the example above, the ball is somewhat high, but my paddle follow-through is still finishing higher than the point of contact.👇 This is because the ball needs to go over the net before it can go down into the opponent’s court. This low to high motion should create enough topspin to clear the net, but then dip down as it crosses the plane. SUBSCRIBE for daily tips like this one! It’s FREE!
