I purchased basic lobster $1200. I’m 71 yo and the lobster does everything I need to enhance shots and muscle memory.

I have the Erne and when it was new, my assumption was it was going to be a better Spinshot machine. It is but not yet. The play-like drill program of Spinshot/Titan is still being worked onfor the Erne which is quite frustrating since owners like me have been waiting for a while. The release was Feb 2024 and they mentioned they had some bugs so we are left waiting again. I would say performance wise, Titan seems to have it all. For me, machines are the best options for drilling when you want to learn a shot, hit a ball from a precise location, and if you want to sweat. One thing as a first time owner of a machine that no one talked about at all is how everything goes out the door when you have a decent amount of wind. I live in a decently windy city and even with wind screens, programming a machine to hit 3rd shot drops and then hitting a 4th is just a head scratcher. But in general I think that's more of a pickleball issue than the machine.

I have the Titan Ace. The bowl that holds the balls doesn’t bother me at all. It is the size of a carry on suitcase. As a woman an appreciate that I can lift it into my SUV. I’m 61 and I can navigate the app easily. Great machine. So happy I bought it

Our facility just got the Spinfire, definitely impressed by the user interface and accuracy. It’s for an external battery for convenience charging.

Really good info. I just got to try the Titan Ace for about an hour yesterday. Great machine. (The bowl would be fine if there was some way to zip up the top and bottom so you could keep the balls in it, but it is a bummer you can't have it all self-contained like the Titan One.) Anyway, I appreciate the general input. After playing with the Titan Ace I actually thought "wow, this is so good... I wonder if the Erne or Simon X is even better?... but your take seems to be matching up with some of the other research I've been doing. Thanks guys!

The Simon X weighs 65 pounds, the Ernie weighs 50 pounds and the Titan weighs 48 pounds without balls and 56 pounds with balls. Please don't assume that people over 50 don't have the ability to program a remote control. Condescending.

Meh. I dunno if it's condescending. As a software engineer over 50, yes, it might feel insulting. Heck, I build more complex apps than this. But when I was young I thought 50-60 was old, so I'm guilty of the same thing... AND... Austin only said it as a warning to some folks who might not be tech-savvy. And there's a LOT of folks out there who aren't.

@@dunethomas Actually it was the only thing that I was allowed to post that wasn't deleted. His comments on the Simon X were way off especially when you look at the weights of the comparable machines and balls wedging in the carousel. That was fixed long ago, as I have owned one for 3 years. Also the Simon being equivalent to dead lifting 500 pounds when his machine weighs 56 pounds with balls. . But that is for another day. I think the Titan looks like a very good machine but could have got to that conclusion a lot differently.

I've only been playing for a few months but got the Slinger because of the price and watching your reviews and videos on settings. I love it so far. If I am still serious in a few years I might get the Titan.

The Simon X is around 60 pounds. It's not the easiest to transport around if you don't have an SUV or a pickup truck, but please keep in mind that no DURABLE machine with the performance of the Simon X will fit in your car. I have never had a problem with the ball feed.

The lobster you are talking is about $150 more than the sling bag (at least when I looked recently) and seems better built. Yes, it has a hopper, but the sling bag is still bulkier (the cost of not having a hopper), and the hopper in the lobster fits as a cover when not in use, making it more compact for transportation and storage. If the hopper annoys you- for the sling bag, you have to bring a separate base for oscillating function. Pretty inconvenient compared to those with oscillating built in. Plus the controls on the sling bag are right in the front (next to where the balls shoot out!), which is a poor design choice for a product, especially for a product with no app. I don't own either one, but have been looking at them for only a little bit and feel that your review didn't really put those things in perspective.

If you want us to consider subscribing to your channel, you have to make it easier for us to get the information. No graphics, no text, no summaries. You expect us to listen to 30 minutes to actually hear what the six ball machines are and what your opinion is that's idiotic

Charging your phone? Really, a major criteria?????
@keithallen31195 ай бұрын
Agreed, found this review to be quite lacking in depth about the machines. They talked about ball capacity, portability, charging ability, etc.....not about endurance, warrenty, precision of shots, variety of shots, etc, the issues most of us wanted to know about before investing. Also found them to wander between machines too much. Get on one and stay with the assessment of that machine, then do a final wrapup comparsion as the close out.
@BeardG-br4si6 ай бұрын
Really disappointed in your assessment of the Simon X. I've owned mine for 3 years. Sure, it's a 60-pound machine, but the durability of the Simon X is what you pay for and what you get. Also, I've never had issues with the ball feed. Not once, actually. It blows every other machine out of the water in terms of the performance.
