Hello! I'm a fan of this system. Could I find somewhere the mathematical explanation of this specific sytem? I want to create a system that makes an ellipse of 300 x 200 mm axes, and I don't know how to take the dimensions of your mechanism. If you also have the model for software like CREO or Solidworks, it would be helpful! Thank you.

Great animation. I just wanted to ask one question. What is the direction of the unit vectors in this system? Wikipedia describes that the unit vectors are in the direction of increasing quantities. So, is the direction of "a" always "away" from the reference x axis, even when the body is moving towards it???

I used a program called "Elica". It is not available anymore. The same model can be made with almost any modern 3D system.
