very interesting concept indeed . But i see a Turbo charger and the claim in the title says atmospheric pressure.... to my knowledge that is whit out a turbo charger ? So what are the results With and without . also what is the torque on low rpm . Other than that i really like the idea nice work guys .

I am most interested in the efficiency numbers. But there are a million optimiziations that need to be done before the efficiency approaches the theoretical limit for this engine. Cylinder coatings, balancing, bearings etcetc.

I’ve been thinking about how this engine works for a while… opposed piston engine 2 strokes are nothing new, but the only way they work is by using a positive displacement supercharger of some sort to push the new air in while pushing the exhaust out the other end of the cylinder… that’s just how these work. In theory you might be able to get it to run using exhaust scavenging… but at lower rpm’s… some form of supercharging would basically be needed for low rpm operation… at all. Which is what they have here. That being said… maybe they meant that it doesn’t need to be boosted at operating rpm? Granted if that’s the case they could have been a bit more clear about that as needing to run a little boost just to pass air though the engine shouldn’t be a downside.

Since this is basically a 2 stroke, why don't you tell us exactly how it it is different and how you avoid having to add 2 stroke oil to the fuel?

I think without the valves it would probably be a lot simpler, but the problem is that the new parts would be harder to reach compared to conventional engine parts.

la nissan se paso 10 anios investigando para una caja de cambios con bolas y no pudieron hacerla funcionar porque decapaba el acero,menos un un motor con temperaturas mas altas ,hay que poner una pelicula de lubricante y no es con ruedas,es con cojinetes como una biela y ahi se complica el motor simple,no jodamos. mi nobre en anibal assi.

Beaucoup de communication pour un système qui est loin d'être révolutionnaire (en gros, c'est un compresseur de climatisation de voiture auquel on a rajouté des injecteurs et des bougies) et qui n'a absolument pas fait ses preuves en matière de fiabilité et de rendement.

Ca sent quand même gros la fake news. On voit une voiture rouler mais pas l'installation du moteur dans la voiture alors que c'est ça qui est intéressant. Mécaniquement, le plan qu'on nous montre ressemble à un compresseur de climatisation équipé de bougies d'allumage. On ne voit pas d'arbre de sortie de puissance, pas de système d'admission, pas de circuit de graissage, pas de circuit de refroidissement, etc. Bref, j'ai de très sérieux doutes sur la véracité de cette annonce et sur le sérieux de cette boite espagnole... Ca me rappelle l'annonce il y a longtemps de la société BO Manufacture dans le domaine de l'airsoft. Ils ont annoncé à grand renfort de communication sur les réseaux sociaux et de produits marketing qu'ils avaient inventé un système qui allait révolutionner le milieu (ils appelaient ça le MTO), ils ont fait un teasing intense sur les forums, des vidéos, etc... sauf qu'au final, rien n'est sorti, ils se sont contentés d'une gamme de répliques ACM grossièrement maquillées avec des noms alambiqués mais des mécaniques AEG tout ce qu'il y a de plus classiques, leur système "révolutionnaire" n'a jamais vu le jour et la boite a fini en liquidation judiciaire.

Looks to be a petrol engine with cam follower type crank. Wobble plate would be more reliable.
