a major manufacturer needs to look into this. This is 'too-good-to-be-true' hardware; I'd like to see this put this up to real-world testing in a 1500kg car, 15 years of wear-and-tear in hot, arctic climates, heavy loading and high abuse (taxi, contractor pickup truck, sports car applications). I love these innovative teams trying to push boundaries.

@@steampunkster2023 Yes I saw that video; super cool. I have a Miata of the same gen. What I mean is a manufacturer should invest in a potential partnership for the e-REX, which should start with durability testing and validating a potential supply chain.

The e-REX 500 was already a leap in itself, this latest development of the e-REX 700, just goes to show how much of a push in innovation the engineers are achieving. Well done. 👏 - On a further note would it be possible to comment on the following: Do you see an ETA to release on the market by perhaps 2026? Are there plans in introducing smaller models (such as generators) for the general public? - That is all, and again 'maravilloso progreso' :)

It's a very old knock-off of a torpedo engine. It can be extremely powerful in a compact form. Decades old technology.

@@miltonfridman1239 MX5 run but never seen it start and run on this engine . Just because a Delorean video shows leaping into the future does not prove anything . The MX5 video shows a bottom of a car with sound effects and the car driving on a street BUT never shows the motor start up and actually moving under that engine.

I want one of these tuned to power my future Aptera with the smallest battery. I live in a condo with no charging capability and no charging stations nearby. With a range extender, my battery should last a long time because it is always within optimum charge range. The e-Rex will make owning an electric car feasible for everyone.
