The shift between LBP1 and LBP2 was so cool. The cool retro arcade aesthetic and space theme along with 2011 pop culture really made LBP2 alot more nostalgic than LBP1 in my opinion.

You ever wonder what happens to are thoughts? I used to know, I knew they were out there, after all "One by one they drift away to the cosmic imagisphere." but now I'm not so sure. Orb of Dreamers: Curiosity encouraged, creativity enabled; Imagination permitted until the last dollar.

i used to love playing this game when i was a kid with a close friend of mine, i’d bring my ps3 and tv to his house and we’d play all day, they are precious memories to me, sadly i can’t share those memories with him anymore, since he passed away a month ago from a car accident i’m glad we enjoyed the time we had together

I hope you can carry those memories for many years to come, who knows maybe at the end you'll get to reminisce with him. <3

I never played any of the littlebigplanet games, but wow, this nearly made me cry and gave me a huge wave of nostalgia even tho i never played the games. It might be because it uses the same sample that Chirp uses (Bossa Nova style). It's really such a shame that the servers shut down permanently tho :(

It breaks my heart that I was once a kid with eyes and a mind full of imagination and never imagined my life could go wrong, so so wrong. And this song brings it all back to me. My mom loved watching me play, it was like for the first time in my life I had finally embraced myself as a member of society and started even making friends. Sadly at 22 I got into the wrong crowd, got into doing drugs, I've been homeless twice in the past 2 years and about to be homeless for a third time, all my friends walked away, all my ex girlfriends stabbed me in the back, all my family are dissociating from the fact that my life is such a train wreck. If I decided to end it, this song would be playing on repeat through my earbuds. Little Big Planet is an era of happiness without doubt in my life that is long since gone and will never return. I'm on the long stretch now, just barely making it day by day, barely finding the urge to get up in the morning. My imaginative star is burning out, crushed by the pressure of the void.

Your imaginative star may burn out, but that doesn't mean it dies, it can be reborn, denser, more powerful than ever, I hope for that in your future. <3

And now the LBP server has been permanently closed :( While I knew it was coming with all the security vulnerabilities and people causing chaos it was a good 17-18 years. ❤ I remember LBP1 in 2009 as a 6 year old. Played all 3 LBP.gsmes

There are custom servers but how to play LBP officially don't work now :( Long time player here since 09! :( Played it since I was 6 and then stopped when I was an adult. Feels so sad now that the services were switched off.

I’m crying. Goodbye, LBP. Thank you for being my first game, and the last in my heart. You’ll always remain with me and all of the other people that got to experience this game as well. Your impact shakes my core, as does your departure. I feel like a part of me has died. It might sound corny, but this game got me through so much and made me so happy. I pray that one day this game will return. I would buy a whole new PlayStation to play it. Thank you thank you thank you and goodbye.

"Planet earth. Or as the rest of the omniverse call it, the orb of dreamers. The occupants of which spend so much time asleep, and dreaming. Their vast imaginations humming away charged with creative energy. Where does it all go? Up through a Cerebral billicle chord where it collects and melds with all the other dreamers energy. And something wonderful happens. It forms a world. And the fural dreamscape of adventure and possibilities. An abstract plain of _beutiful_ wonderment just _waiting_ to be explored. And you can go there now." -steven fry

LittleBigPlanet 3's PS4 servers just shut down. The last of the classic games is now dead. I'm here not to mourn for the loss, but to smile for the memories. Goodbye Sackboy. We'll dearly miss you.

Many wonder…how long can memories of long lost imaginative creations last, before they are gone forever? Do they stay in the imagisphere for generations? Or just fade away with time? The truth is far brighter. No matter how long it has been, the memories, the imagination, the creations, they remain in the imagisphere, where they create a safe space where the memories may never fade away. In the center of Craftworld, long gone creators left behind an object, an object that defines Craftworld as it is known. It fuels the imagisphere, creating a transcendent dreamworld, a transdimensional plane of imagination and creation… And this amazing place of creation was given a name… They call it… LittleBigPlanet(4)

It’s really such a shame it had to end this way. This game was WAY ahead of this time and should have got more love. Sony fumbled hard with LBP and it blows my mind. If it wasn’t for this game, I would not have the creativity I have today. Rest easy my friend. Love you forever 🖤

It was practically Sony's identity for the longest time. I still don't fully understand why they would just pull the plug. They could've kept it alive.
