Will there eventually be a video comparison for performance comparison between previous model vs. the 2.0? And is the 2.0 using a completely different set of blades?

I got mine yesterday, this is the worst thing I have ever put together. Not one single part is labeled. Some parts required machining to get the screws to line up. I lost count of the pieces that I needed to remove because it was the wrong piece or I had it in backwards. The way the back is connected to the sled is just ridicules. I assume that strip might have worked better if it was the first instruction, instead of waiting till the end when it was frozen solid and coiled up in a tight circle. I can't recommend this to anyone unless you can buy it assembled already. I think accountants have taken over another company and thought it is a good idea to cut cost over customer experience and quality control. Little things like a pull tab at the end of the zipper so that you don't need to grab a handful of tent to get the zipper off the end would be nice. The seat should nest completely in the sled when traveling. The front corners drape down, negating the extra space. When you flip the seat back, it does not rotate completely into the sled for transport, otherwise, I would have full use of my rear view mirror in my SUV. I think I will be spray painting over Eskimo. I can't see giving these guys free advertising.

is it to much to ask for a 7 in 1 or 4 in 1 type jacket and bib with all the bow hunting, tactical and ice fishing features like fit and camo, water proof and wind proof, zipper under arm and side access, silent fabic, harness port, stretch thumb hole cuffs, hood and gaiter, tactical pocket placement and float tech or do we have to keep buying seperate items? Should fix that imo...and why arnt shelters lined with mylar or some heat reflective material? It saves weight and cost.

Is it worthwhile upgrading to the 2.0 over the original? I'm more concerned about wear and tear on my drill (Milwaukee Fuel) than anything else. The auger itself works great.
@EskimoIceFishingGear2 ай бұрын
One of the main benefits of the Pistol Bit 2.0 over the original is it's efficiency with drills. It doesn't stress the drill as hard, so you'll get more holes and it's a bit faster. We find that it's a lot smoother cut as well. This comes from the Turbo Blades on the business end, which is the main change and upgrade on the Pistol Bit 2.0 augers.

This should be sold with 2- single seats so that if I was fishing by myself, the space with one seat removed could be used for storage/ workspace or made into a platform for my dog. With the full bench, the unused side is a waste of space. Will not be buying this.

Doesn't fail, watching how the puddles of sweat just dried up within 48 hours was so satisfying, I used what I read about the other day. Although it actually took about 72 hours for my sweating to normalize, I went ahead and go'ogled Cynthia Yulesin’s Stop Sweating Today and I don’t have to change clothes 2 times a day.

I would like to see you do this video in sub zero weather in the dark with strong winds. These stuff sacks are hard to work with in those conditions. It would be nice if you had a zipper bag available for customers that don't like fighting with a stuff bag at the end of day of fishing.

Bungy it into a roll, take it home, let it dry out and stuff it in the bag then.

Hear me out and a lot of people I brought it up with agreed, have a series of say 4 man tents you can connect or start making them where you can connect them…like have something you can zip to join 2 or 3 and so on together with like a hallway of sorts, so say can have the 850 for sleeping fishing and then be able to hook up to a smaller one to use as bathroom or kitchen or gear storage, where you could just walk from one to their other with out facing the elements…would be amazing for those long weekend or week long camp outs….like that’s some next level stuff if your tents come pre quipped with a connection like that

What will i need to allow me to put on my pistol bit? I bought a 10" e40 today and already have an 8" pistol pit as well
@EskimoIceFishingGear Жыл бұрын
Hi Jake, the Pistol Bit will actually fit onto the E40 as it is. However, the blade designs on the E40 and Pistol Bit are quite different, so you will see a significant decrease (inches of ice per battery charge) in performance when using the Pistol with the E40 powerhead, and we do not recommend it.

@@EskimoIceFishingGear What about Pistol Bit 2.0? I bought an E40 steel, can I buy a composite 2.0 bit to replace the steel bit?

How will this suit compare to other Eskimo suits for wind resistance and insulation? I fish cold -40C for 12 hours at a time. Looking for a great suit so I don’t need to bring the pop up on those hard to reach lakes. It’s all about staying warm, dry, and mobile for me. Cheers
@EskimoIceFishingGear Жыл бұрын
Hi Calvin! This suit is the warmest (along with Superior) in our lineup. It features 100g of insulation and a 10K/10K waterproof/breathable rating, which is a step up in performance rating from some of our other suits like the Keeper and Roughneck. A few of our staff guys like this suit in particular for snowmobiling in the cold. Our other suits are great for other purposes, but in those types of temperatures, the Legend would definitely be the one to check out. MORE INFO: geteskimo.com/collections/legend-suit

this seems to be just an Ion with different decoration and a quick connect no ice fisherman really needed for $100 USD more.

Can you buy just the power head, and use with 8” pistol bit?
@EskimoIceFishingGear Жыл бұрын
The E40 is not available as powerhead only at this time. The Pistol Bit uses a different blade configuration that would not perform as efficiently (you wouldn't get as many holes per charge) as the Turbo Cutting System on the E40.
