Well to be fair he could have spent 7 minutes and 42 seconds sticking a camera out a window on a dirt road playing crappy music in the background like some guy with 3 subscribers. It's Karen comments like this that show a complete lack of understanding of the time, effort and hours that go into making a decent video that is actually watchable. Some of my most watched videos were those showing food being cooked while camping, because......, and I know this is hard to believe Jason....., people actually like to watch what people cook while camping to get ideas for their own trips. Yes I know he could have spent endless minutes showing footage traveling along a road yard by yard, mile by mile - I know some people find that just to be the most fun-tastic watchable videos, but its really not for me and I think for most viewers. Keep it up with these insightful comments, so helpful.

@losburrosoverland24 күн бұрын
Hey! I already had the A-Pillar mounts from ZroadZ so when I took off the existing light bar I replaced it with their bar altough I had to grind off the mounting tabs that it came with as the spacing was more for 3" pod lights. It worked when all was said and done but it wasn't exactly straightforward. Good luck and thanks for watching!

its funny ive been doing this stuff for years, decades and even last weekend, but i find im more into the moment, than i am at "capturing the moment" and i miss out on memories and stories.. You have a gift an ability to not only capture the moment but tell a story.. for that i have the most respect and admiration.. my friend.. not only does not everyone do that, not everyone has the capability.. the eye, the skill.. im all about overlanding 2 and 4 wheels..
@CenCaBORL_Explorers27 күн бұрын
by "more into" i mean "better at" .. i need to focus more on capturing those moments.. but the things you described about pressed up against the windshield , the anticipation you feel... I felt that as i scouted out this route with just me and my dog and NO cell phone.. i did bring a dual sport on a 3 rail trailer.. as my back up plan.. but there is no more connective feeling i know of than the primal wilderness of the forest or the desert... For hi elevation is dramamine for nausea..

That is NOT "wilderness" or remote. You guys are less than 20 miles from town and people live and work cattle there every day. My grandparents had a farm right off the highway near there and I was driving those roads before I was old enough to have a driver's license. You guys need to go back to the city.
@losburrosoverland29 күн бұрын
Thanks for sharing your connection to this area! You're right that it's actively ranched and has a rich history of farming and cattle operations. Perhaps 'remote' wasn't the best word choice from a local's perspective. When I used those terms, I was trying to capture how different and special this landscape feels compared to urban areas, especially for city folks who might be inspired to explore it respectfully. I'd love to hear more about your family's history here - those kinds of deep connections to the land are what make the Owyhees so special.
