i can't wait to get my gladiator out more. i spent too much time rock crawling in my past jeep life, i don't want to anymore. all those years aren't wasted but i wish to see the land more than anything now. thank you for the inspiration.

One thing is certain. We may have to cut our trips short, but the wilds and the moments are waiting for our return. Safe trails!

One time I reached the top of Forestdale Divide just as a massive thunderhead decided to let go. The bottom fell out of the clouds and the rain came down as hard as I've ever seen. Lightning was all around us, several strikes per minute, including one that hit the ground 50 feet from our Jeeps! We drove out of there as fast as we could to get to lower ground before anyone died. Good times!

Yet another fine video from you . Been following for over 2 months now since finding you on my “ Recommended” feed on KZbin & thought I’d subscribed . My bad . Just added you today to my subscription list . Stay safe out there Brian . My wife & I just did the area in Sierras from Convict lake, Crowley lake & then once back Down off Volcanic table land area headed south from Bishop . Took a break one night in hotel in Lone pine ( hot shower & great food in town for our 37th anniversary, plus out of the rooftop tent for a night 😏). Then we explored & enjoyed Alabama hills for a bit before heading home Via 190 down through western portion of Death Valley through Panamint springs & side trip to Ballarat before work obligations the following week had us headed back south toward home here in San Diego . As I’m watching this and now commenting from Angel Fire New Mexico in Snow at 9000 ft I can agree about much of what you said in this one . Enjoy every moment in life wherever you find yourself. I’m retiring in April of next year & hope to see you out somewhere/ sometime in future to possibly share a campfire & beer or two on an adventure. C-ya , & thanks for what you do .

Just watched your video! We haven't been on Hungalelti since Sept. 2000 when we used to live down in the bay area! We have lived up here in. El Dorado County now for going on 20 years and it was so neat to watch you on the trail we liked so much! I definitely want to go back, we are only 1.5 hrs from the trailhead! Also have I seen you driving around town, (Shingle Springs)?

It's a great place to explore! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Probably not me in Shingle Springs unless I just happened to be driving through. Thanks for watching!

I will always call Hungalelti Ridge by its original name, Squaw Ridge. The views from the top of the ridge are hard to beat. So when am I going to get to go on one of these adventures with you?

Brian great video! Beautiful part of the country. Could you share the name of the cargo carrier you have behind your gas tank on the drivers side of your rig?
