0:35 It's Gnome Chompski LOL! You don't see a lot of people who have made interactive backgrounds. Most people just make an idle background that doesn't move. In my opinion the Source Engine needs more flashlight options. You only have a yellow light. No option for red, blue, green, purple. You also can't change the flashlight range/fov which I think would be good. You can have a large light source in a small area or expand the light out from the flashlight to view far viewed corners in a dark room.

You forgot to plug that you sell Etsy LOL! Has Valve ever made a definitive guide for Source Modding or Mapping. Not sure if that would be a good thing to make, but I bet some people would buy it on Etsy. The Source Engine has a lot of quirks that people don't know how to fix. Knowing had to fix texture errors and bugs like FPS Lag would be good. Even just how to optimize maps for the best performance. Valve still hasn't optimized Half-Life 2 very well. I know that because I watched someone play the updated version and the FPS was awful.

You can also do it I believe with is it PNG? And you apply it as like a sticker and then extrude it but it's really processor intensive. I just stumbled on the method to do it it was a long time ago I was tinkering around tinkering around and it worked I couldn't believe it but I was applying a pattern on cylinders because I'm a Potter and I wanted to roll patterns into the clay using like a small rolling pin you'd only like a one inch diameter rolling pin that I made by printing it in 3D. And it worked perfectly I projected Maple leaves and all kinds of weird things for designs and it was really really laggy to do so if you click something wrong it would take forever to finish it and then undo it again lol I think your way is better but it's totally confusing to me
