This was great. Do you still have the original dinosaur animations (on film) from the Land of the Lost? It would be amazing if those were transferred in HD. A lot of the detail was lost back when they transferred it for use (at standard def) in the TV series.

I only have about 12 of my shots on 35mm color work print. It was too difficult to get an extra print for oneself during production.

gotcha. It would e amazing to see what you did have. But I understand the challenges of getting the film transferred at this point. Thanks.

Just wanted to echo what others have said: thank you for posting this video. I have been trying to find more information on these printers and the processes surrounding them. There is surprisingly little information on these incredible machines; especially when one considers their groundbreaking contributions to modern day image making.

Also, did the ad agency give you a character design drawing to work off of, or did you design the character from scratch? Thank you!
@waltonartvisualeffects10777 ай бұрын
The ad agency had no designs, they just said they wanted a stylized hand.

Daws Butler is the voice of the Arrowhead character. He's basically doing Huckleberry Hound.

I've noticed that the mouth of a Hamburger Helper's ''Helping Hand'' mascot wasn't designed yet and his design looks a little messy compared to the shiny final touches being used on the character.

The beaver in that Cheerios commercial would later go on to appear in the 1957 Gumby episode "Tree Trouble."
