So you never "finished" the autotune, but talk about reputation, and fp3 being unsafe for the motor based on that? 😂 You can still delete the video big dog. Getting ratio'd pretty hardcore

What was the before and after? You cant make anything out from this video? Btw I re-flased mt 2007 Tiger 1050 using Tune EcU and it worked brilliantly The power gais were not massive , but the engine became silky smooth everywhere throught the rev range And it started quicker from cold

Yeah it probably needs to be replaced I have the same issue I keep getting a c28 code and there about 250$ on eBay so I suggest looking up a video on how to fix the soldering on the stva valve, it’s a sorta simple fix but requires some patience and soldering practice before you do it because I messed mine up when I could have fixed it

You got time for a possibly stupid question? im interested in hayabusa engines for a car. im having trouble finding any info about shifter linkages where i could use the stock busa trans. would this be a quick easy fix for my issue? i would prefer a linkage cuz ive always dreamed of a sequential transmission like a rally car, but if its impossible im looking for the next best thing. thanks

The number of revolutions don’t matter as long as all cylinders are tested at the same amount. However Honda’s service manual on this bike does say initial check at 5 revs, and another 5 if on low spec. If compression comes up on the second 5 you move to a leak down test. If not verify valve adjustment recheck if same results engine rebuild. If leak down test fails verify valve train sealing if not service valve train, if it is sealing engine rebuild.

The servers manuals normally tell you to rotate until maximum psi is achieved not five bumps. That’s a car thing and false information.
@dirkdiggler1877
@dirkdiggler1877 5 ай бұрын
I guarantee your results will be higher than the book calls for. The five bump rule is to eliminate variances in rotational speed (new battery/ starter versus weak). You spin that motor fast enough and enough times and it'll show good compression on an otherwise problem cylinder.

Did you Ride until most of the squares on the chart were green while the FP3 was in autotune mode, then flash the learned map into the ECM? Because if you didn't then the module never learned the bikes parameters and the map wasn't actually flashed. I did, and my bike runs beautifully.

funny thing…. even DynoJet and FuelMoto even talk about the success of their AutoTune. I believe you have a bike there where the owner had no idea. Hell, even Kevin Baxter says the “dynotune” is not optimal because you are tuning the bike in a way we don’t even ride it
@4allcyclesperformancedynot617
@4allcyclesperformancedynot617 10 ай бұрын
A perfect tune is definitely with real world conditions. The dyno just gets you in a position that’s close enough to begin the road tuning or track tuning process.

No disrespect but this "information" comes off as very self-serving considering that you are apparently in the dynotune business. Your "report" is seriously deficient in facts and data to back up your claims. You don't state any facts about the motorcycle in question, it's condition or configuration. Or any information about the V&H map that was used as the base map. And just the fact that your test "sample" is a grand total of one, vaguely described motor makes your video highly questionable. I have no dog in the fight but I have so far found no benefit in paying $1,000 to a tuner when my FP3 and V&H supplied maps have so far worked very well for me. Going by the way the motor starts and runs, the condition of the plugs and occasional oil analysis I'm satisfied that the long and short term fuel trims coming from my narrow band O2 sensors have me tuned better than stock (which is set intentionally lean by the MoCo).

Would one cylinder at 130 PSI while the rest are at 150 cause a 2006 GSXR 600 to bog when it’s being revved ? Idles fine but breaks up with revs. I checked a website that says 127 is the lowest acceptable psi but that’s only 3 psi off so I’m thinking that may be the issue, if so most likely culprit is gasket or?
