I have close to 1,000 hours in Old World, this game is so underrated!

Here are a few things I’d like to see First, they brought back treasures from Sids colonization.. Cool but what about privateers? They could be built and attack without declaring war but wouldn’t reveal the attacking players nationality.. They were generally weaker than other naval warships but mostly capable against merchant ships Second.. bring back transports! The game used to have transport ships you were required to build to move land units.. civ 3 had them.. now it’s just silly you can embark from basically anywhere with any unit instantly.. Third.. something lacking in all these games is an automatic return fire for bombarding.. ranged attacks are always OP in these games because the players who gets the turn first shoots and destroys most of the other players capacity to fight back without taking ANY damage! There should be at least a 50% automatic return damage function. A very old civil war era game called age of rifles had this feature and it was brilliant. Some panzer general esq games have it as well.

Really hope that we get to choose four ideologies in CIV 7 in the modern era instead of three.

i just worry that civ7 is going to be too hard, with all the technical stuff. yeah, it's great, but, i want to play a game, not build a real civilization.

Idk how I feel about having to change civs throughout the ages. Like going from Shawnee to a us leader is reasonable but what about the countries that have been established for a while. I guess what I’m saying is it kind of takes away from the realism.

TLDR: Not really.

Victoria 3 is a good game and Ill die on this hill.

Don't know why, but what ever civ like games I play, late game is always a chore, a tedious one.

The fact they even considered selling a DLC when their base game STILL isn’t at the level it should have been at release is mind blowing to me. What makes them think they deserve extra money for anything when they’ve short changed everyone so badly with a terrible, broken game?

Seeing Civ 4 and 6 side by side i miss the asthetics of 4 and 5. 6 IMO was masjor step down in terms of visual acpect.

Honestly, the only reason humankind wasnt a “civ killer” i think is because it was such a different experience. It felt like the grand strategy version of civ, so civ still takes the cake for that streamlined strategy builder

I've seen games in Alpha that were more complete than how CS2 was released.

FYI. for those who do not know: Slay the Spire is polished to the point where it can not be polished anymore. There are many best games, but none is worked to the point where you can not improve it anymore.

Cities Skylines 2 is still not worth it especially only 20% off. The new patch broke the non existing ‘simulation’ even more. Every update is two steps forward one back. The performance has gotten worse the past couple patches. CO don’t know how to code.

WH 40k Gladius Relics of War, is def worth a try if you like 4X genre. Much more about combat than managing a civ, still very fun and each factions very unique, regardless of era. (No era) If you love WH 40k, must buy, if not, still worth a try, go Space Marine or Necrons first tries ... XD Game can be hard with other more "specialty" races". If you're a fan of the settings, any factions is enjoyable although I haven't touched Ad Mech, Sis, or Drukhari.

I know I’ve been subbed to you for a while now and love all your CS2 and Civ content but this was awesome! You showed me some really cool games I wouldn’t have thought to have checked out otherwise! Thank you!

I agree with your sentiment on most of the Paradox DLC's, but a warning (as I play quite a few). The general rule of thumb is that the older the game is the more of a requirement the DLC's are. EU4 is probably my favorite of all their games, but it is like 10 years old with 10 years of DLC's. Good video though!

A little surprised that Stellaris is not on the list, guess it's because it's not a turn-based. But really recommned that game. I spent hundreds hours over that.

The worst part of civ 6 is the world Congress and I've never read a single screen of it, love the game hate the Congress. I'm simply not reading all that crap in a "game" 🤷‍♀️

The bigger problem i have is i played the game by release. Every time with the biggest map (withou mods). Exist already a mod what fix this 2 things. ? 1. when the game goes already hours, also 10h+ the game needs by round end 20+minutes before your turn starts again. One time i played so long a map that i waited 40+minutes after "end of turn" before i can do something again. 2. When the enemy turn is and they move there units. he splits his "group" into 2. lets say They have 1 group. from this group 3 units gor 5 stepts and than the other 3 goes the same step and fuse again to the same group. (hard to descripe but hope you kno what i mean. exist mods what fix that because when not than i must wait maybe again a year before i play again

I do hope they improve the air combat as well as it got very tedious in the previous games

Couldn't get into Civ 6, but there are some things which might make me consider giving 7 a shot. I like the looks of this model of trade and piracy, and I like the way they have brought stacked units back in a way that models army formation a little bit better than just lumping together a doom stack. I constantly revisit both Civ 4 and 5, and have always felt that there needed to be a combat system which was half way between both. I just have a terrible feeling that city management is going to be too much like 6 and I will get bored and frustrated slogging away plotting districts and adjacency bonuses rather than enjoying the exploring and expanding parts of the game.

It bothers me that they didnt show Ai building a navy, it seems all this cool stuff wont be used by the ai properly, again.

Have they addressed the obvious lack of franchise-standard Civs in the exploration age? How do you even have an exploration age without the British? Not that I super care, I always played Dutch or other civs more, but it seems extremely weird to not have British, or Dutch, or even Ottoman, all of which had massive navies. Is this so they can put it in the next DLC?

50% splash damage will get nerfed.

Is it true that resources will not be necessary anymore to build specific military units? Because if it is, then it's a bad change. Searching for a resource the player was in need to build a unit was among the most fun things in the gameplay.
