Took about 2 min to find exactly where this hunt went down... I bet the neighbors and anybody that hunts about 5 miles NW of fairfield Iowa really appreciates that added spotlight. Dont show ONX maps with road and water system names on videos.

I had a buck that I had early Jan of 24 last pics as he shed and he showed last 2 years for fall and this year he popped up for first time in mid December and been on cams on 2 spots 3 or 4 diff days in last 2 or so weeks. Odd for our bucks but I’ve seen this more the last two years with returning bucks not returning. My neighbors Don’t have more or better food and we can feed and I have better plots ans we all run feeders in our area of pine farm leases. Would clear cut and timber thinning matter that much ? It’s our 16 year since I’ve started this camp and never seen this before like The last 2 years now. I’m trying to figure out and solve this before next fall! Thanks for videos and we all rock the black racks , extinguishers and use the phase system and I’m a moon guide junkie lol.

Congratulations! It really helps when you have top of line on gears, cameras, land. Just takes time and lot of money! Normal hunters can’t afford all the gear , but still take 140-150 class deer ! Just my opinion.
@PJKimman5 күн бұрын
Hater, you dont need money to soot big deer it might help but that is a dumb excuse
@ShaneLewis-n2o5 күн бұрын
@ that’s your opinion, you can’t say having private land and good gear doesn’t help. It’s not being a Hater as you say , just saying it helps have the extras and Time sir!

Farm hunting is legal, but it's really just killing deer that you been feeding all year. and making look like a hard hunt. I have hunted like that and ate a hot breakfast.

Well I tap to watch this video but then I realized he used a gun on this nice buck..so I got off of it before it was over..shame to use firearms on nice bucks...to easy to do and no respect for the kill
@marshallybarbo79226 күн бұрын
2 things. Number one, why in the hell are using a range finder when you’re hunting with a rifle and the deer is within 100 yards😂😂. Number 2, you need to slide your rifle more forward or move the rests closer together because your barrel should never be resting on anything only your forearm on your stock should be. You better be glad he wasn’t far or you might’ve missed doing that

There’s lots of places on public land with bucks like that.
@ArcherB7 күн бұрын
@@bridgerdemers3349 Not where I'm from anyway. Too much hunting pressure. The thing is meat hunters shoot too many young deer so the population of bucks that are mature is small.
