Since this is measuring the dryness of clothes and textiles hanging on a drying rack, another solution to try would be putting the rack on a board, which then sits on some kind of interfaced scale or force sensor. I think we could assume the fabrics are as dry as they're going to get when the system detects the whole setup has stopped losing weight. That could also work with a clothesline fastened to a force sensor at one end. Hmmm.... Thanks for another fun show. I continue to be surprised at your subscriber count--it should be much higher!

@GeekReduxКүн бұрын
@@jyvben1520 I was, perhaps weirdly, thinking of an indoor line. An outdoor one would be quite a bit trickier. Still doable, I think, but it'll require a lot of averaging and a longer "stable time" at the end.

I have worked with Red Pitaya. Personally, I would say that its biggest limitation is that it is designed for purely academic purposes. There are companies that use it as a black box like a Raspberry Pi, a Jetson Nano, etc., but as always it is not optimized for their needs due to the lack of documentation. The issue of scalability is not the company's strong point for the industry. Even so, to learn the basics, it could be a good option.

Yes, it is possible to use a mouse and keyboard with the Espressif ESP32-S3-BOX-3B, depending on the specific implementation of your project and its software setup.The ESP32-S3 microcontroller includes support for USB OTG (On-The-Go), allowing it to act as a USB host.

I'm currently in the home stretch of my EE masters program. I have a home lab, and like many, I'm limited by my budget. I've been following the #RedPitaya for a while now and would love to add it to my setup. One of the projects I'm working on that this would help massively with is a garden sensor that uses a miniature time domain reflectometry system for moisture sensing.

The potential of the #RedPitaya for our company is immense. We specialize in production optimization, primarily within the automotive industry. With our focus on lean principles and Industry 4.0 solutions, we deal with a vast array of signals, from CAN bus to PLC, and from analog to digital. The idea of a single device capable of handling all these different signals is mind-blowing. Our team is made up of tech enthusiasts, ranging from programmers to electronics aficionados (like me), so the Red Pitaya would be a perfect fit for us.

I retired just three days ago, and naturally, the first task on my list is to tackle a massive cleanup. As a technician, it makes sense to start with my lab, which I've been organizing for the past three days. 😆 Those old power supplies and the bulky, outdated oscilloscope- they take up so much space. I can't help but think how wonderful it would be to replace them with more modern, compact equipment offering additional features. By sheer chance, I came across a video about "Red Pitaya," something I had no idea existed until now. I immediately gave it a thumbs up and subscribed. Thanks for sharing such valuable information! 🧐 #RedPitaya #RedPitaya

The world of electronics has changed so much since I was a student. It would be great to catch up with all the things I have forgotten. We used to program Xilinx FPGA's way back then. They taught us the very basics. We would drag gates and draw up a schematic. The IDE would work out the matrix. Lately I have been using TV boxes with Termux and RPi's for simple Automation projects. I got myself a 180Mhz Oscilloscope for Christmas. This #RedPitaya would be a fun way to get back into the career I have shifted away from.

i never understood the point of switching to a b (secondary) camera when the person talking is looking directly at the a (primary) camera. either don’t switch to the b camera or have the talker look at the camera you are switching to. 🤦♂️

#RedPitaya I would like to win a Red Pitaya. I have spent the last year creating a design for a quantum sensor based on Nitrogen Vacancies in Diamond crystal (NVD Centers). A perfect diamond would be a pure carbon crystal in a tight latis structure. Both lab grown and natural diamonds contain impurities as imperfections. Nitrogen is a common impurity that replaces one carbon atom in the diamond crystal. Where this happens a vacancy is created in the crystal. This vacancy can 'trap' an electron that can be manipulated at a quantum level to operate as a sensor. In my research and development, I have ingested a dozen or so academic papers on this subject. All of these paper use a well equipped lab to demonstrate Optically Detected Magnetic Resonance (ODMR) using NVD Centers. One of the papers even uses a Red Pitaya (as a lock-in-amplifier). These academic implementations need expensive diagnostic equipment, high end optics and lots of, not so portable, apparatus. The goal of my design is to create a hand-held, portable, ODMR sensor based on NVD Centers at a low enough cost, below $1,000.00 US, so that it could be deployed in educational situations. Students would have a hands-on device that will demonstrate the quantum ODMR phenomena and allow them to adjust it's parameters for different experiments. I believe my current design will meet my goals. My next step is to accumulate the necessary resources to turn my design into physical hardware. All ODMR designs, including mine, incorporate micro waves and viable narrow band light. I will need a decent electronics / RF lab to bring up my first prototype. The capabilities of the Red Pitaya, as shown in your video, could be my electronics / RF lab. ODMR sensors of this type may one day lead to hand-held MRI medical scanners. Winning a Red Pitaya will greatly improve my chances of turning my design into reality. I appreciate your consideration. Thank You #RedPitaya #quantumsensor #ODMR #NitrogenVacanciesDiamon #DiamondCenters
