Gojo can't go after the special grades at all. You need cursed energy to exorcise a curse. Gojo's CT and output are nerfed post domain so if he wanted to kill the special grades first he'd have to disarm them like what he did to jogo in his first fight (which is why jogo didn't die after having his head lopped off). This is assuming he has enough cursed energy sans technique to kill them post domain nerf. let's say he does, while doing so there's the risk that they wake up before he excorcises them because he can't just atomize them with blue or red, this is the worst case scenario cuz now he's back at square one and fighting a bunch of trasnfigured humans as well as disaster curses at the same time. Everyone on the floor in this scenario is absolutely dead.
@sheikaejulius444123 сағат бұрын
This argument is extremely hindsight biased. One of the biggest issues is that you assume Gojo should've known to be more careful and kill the disaster curses first after the domain expansion even though he has no reason to believe he won't just be able to do it right after killing the transfigured humans. As far as gojo is concerned if he kills the transfigured humans before the disaster curses wake up then the fight goes back to how it was originally and Gojo can continue killing the disaster curses the same way he killed hanami. That's a win. The moment Jogo turns off domain amplification he's a goner. The fault that Gojo made was assuming that the disaster curses wouldn't wake up while he killed the transfigured humans (a reasonable gamble considering his speed and estimated effects of his domain) and more importantly that he would be around to exorcise the disaster curses after he finished with the transfigured humans. Ofc, he didn't know he'd be sealed, it was the villains trump card. His actions in this light make a bit more sense. Jogo is the only one who can kill humans in troves with his AOE but he can't even use it since if he tries he's dead meat. Choso and Mahito killing humans at max speeds are still slow enough to just accept whatever casualties they cause and chase them down old fashioned style. I agree that the most obvious fatal flaw is that gojo should've sacrificed everyone on the floor from the get go to kill every curse there. My point is more so that it's easy to make that statement in hindsight. We know going in that Gojo is going to exhaust his other options first and that's the real mistake he made. I don't think it's fair though to say that he should've known it was checkmate if he didn't immediately gun for his last resort most dire solution. You say that you're treating the scenario as though you're only working with what Gojo knew going in, but it doesn't feel that way since you have seen what happens and know he'll be sealed. If he wasn't sealed then his gamble pays off pretty well.

I haven't watched MHA but I know a bit about it. And I was thinking, If Chisaki wanted to give and erase quirks, maybe he wanted to erase the quirks of people that wasn't able to control them, and give a bit more useful quirk to people that were trained and knew how to control them, or also have some kind of superiority feeling. (I am not trying to justify Chisaki, as I said early, I haven't watched MHA complete, I only watched a bit of season 2, I'm also sorry if my english is bad, english is not my first language)

Yeah, the nonsense that we see in MHA is dedicated to Japanese ideals of Conformity and homogeneity. Japan has a saying, "The Nail that Sticks out gets hammered first". So anything that makes an individual standout from the majority is seen as something shameful. And to have this same mentality happen in a World where everyone is different is a way to criticize that mentality of modern Japan.

@@mahistv They never really give us the origin of powers in MHA. In "Worm," the powers appear because space entities travel through the expanse of space searching for a way to survive the heat death of the universe. Lacking creativity that could solve that crisis, they seed random species with their powers and observe the ways they use them to learn and create new powers in hopes of finding some solution. To ensure the humans don't kill themselves, the powers are semi-sentient and "Manton Limited," and do everything you said in the video.

On the topic of Muzan being an idiot. No, he just literally could not give less of a shit about the demon slayers. Or demons. He only cares about immortality, he only makes demons to go find the flower so he can fix his weakness, other than that, the only demon we're ever told Muzan liked was Akaza, he barely tolerates the rest of them. That's why he doesn't make an army. Then Samurai Jesus shows up and almost kills him, he does not associate this event with the demon slayers, he associates it with Yoriichi. So even going on from his near death experience, he's just waiting for Yoriichi to drop dead due to age. Because he correctly concludes that this didn't mean Demon Slayers were a threat, only Yoriichi was. The demon slayers did not bother him for centuries. Then as the centuries pass, finally, regular demon slayers kill an upper moon. And THIS is when Muzan finally decides, "aight, lets destroy the demon slayer corps". So he sends some upper moons to do some tactical strikes against the supply chain, who by ALL rights should have succeeded. And they fail. Okay, cool, lets prepare then. Muzan creates an army of lower moon tier demons, meanwhile his focus on that gives the Slayer corps enough free time to focus down on training their members. Something he had absolutely no idea was going to happen, he did not know that the Hashira training arc would power level a large portion of the corps to near lower moon level. Totally out of left field. From this perspective, Muzan's actions make sense. YOU do not proactively exterminate ant colonies near your house, until they cause issues. And you certainly would not expect every ant to suddenly get power leveled to small infant level strength. Then Muzan attacks the mansion. Why? Because he assumed there'd be guards and CLEARLY the Upper Moons were not cooking, after all what's the worst that could happen, even if the explosion and thorns happen, that wouldn't do anything to him. Only the poison which once again he had absolutely no way of predicting caused issues. Even then he had an escape route primed and ready. Why'd he bring the demon slayers along with his escape? Honestly I attribute this to him not understanding the severity of his situation and thinking the home field advantage would be sufficient to destroy the entire corp in one sweep. A risky move but not a stupid one. Muzan's actions make sense if you understand who he is and what he knows.
@mahistvКүн бұрын
I understand what you say and I made several videos discussing these events. The problem is, everything you described is a sign of an average IQ at most. It doesn't take into account how he goes about finding this immortally. He doesn't use proxies like humans (Doma has an entire cult he could have employed), he fails to notice that Kamado family didn't disintegrate or that Nezuko turned into demon, etc etc. It's easy to justify his actions, but it's the actions that he didn't take that show his low intelligence.

Togata and Hagakure's powers aren't really similar at all. Togata's Permiation causes things to go through him, while Hagakure's invisibility is her body bending and refracting light. As for how we can still see Togata if he's so intangible that light passes through his eyes? He's not 100% intangible, just to the point his atoms can slip past other atoms. Light is still hitting his body and eyes to the point that we can still see him, but not enough for him to see.
@mahistvКүн бұрын
I don't buy that. If light can bounce off him, no way he can permeate through solid objects. Also, if Hagakure was reflecting or bending light, she'd look like a mirror or a disco ball. She wouldn't be invisible.

Recently I had an argument with some dude over Re:Zero and he genuinely thought that dying over and over again and the gravity of Subaru's situation should make all his previous trauma/psychological problems disappear and that this should make him mature much faster than he does in the anime (just like veterans and other people who are forced to mature from early age). As a comparison he brought up Groundhog's Day and Edge of Tomorrow and how fast their MCs change. When I tried to explain that Subaru's situation is actually nothing alike, he called me a hypocrite and said that I am a kid who doesn't understand mental health. Still can't believe the nerve of that dude. Now it doesn't surprise me at all when Re:Zero fans explode on these haters, when some of them are so delusional.
@mahistvКүн бұрын
I can kinda see this person's point, since I argue the same about Rudy from Mushoku Tensei. The difference is, Subaru was there for only a few month and the stress that he endured is debilitating, rather than something that forces you to mature.
@ybaBeulBКүн бұрын
@mahistv I mean, yeah, that's exactly what I was trying to explain. If Re:Zero wasn't psychological horror and if the events happening were of one and the same day, then the progression would have been shown at the same pace as in Groundhog Day and in Edge of Tomorrow (we would be skipping loops). But since the circumstances of Subaru's deaths are always changing, and since he doesn't get enough rest in seasons 1 and 2 so he could process his experience and really be able to mature from it (if he can even succeed in doing that on his own without being able to share his problems with others), the progression of his development and its pace makes a lot of sense.

You have a plot hole in your logic. All for One. Man's been stealing quirks for years. Which quirks is he going to steal. The strongest ones. Heck were told five percent of the world os quirkless in the beginning but besides Deku do we ever see one. My bet is All for One is the leading cause of quirkless people.
@mahistvКүн бұрын
Wait, what part are you referring to? And he doesn't steal the strongest ones, he steals the most easy to use ones because his quirk doesn't allow to store many complex powers. That apparently why he didn't steal Overhaul, because he would have had to give up a bunch of other quirks to free up "space". It's still a stupid reason not to have Overhaul but I digress. On the other hand, I agree that we don't see enough quirkless people (it's supposed to be 20%)

Hell, Toga would've made a stellar hero. She'd make excellent back up to strong heroes because she could just be given some of their blood to copy their powers and hit villsins with double trouble or give rescue heroes a helping hand. Bakugou's quirk, or at least how he uses it, is one of the ones that make the least sense to me. How are his fingers not broken? Or his wrists? How has he never gotten whiplash? How is he never burnt due to the heat from his explosions? How does he spark the explosions to begin with? How the hell can essentially make a laser just by making a circle with his hand? How has nobody he's fought been burnt or killed from taking point blank explosions? Who thought it was a good idea to give a teenager gauntlets that almost killed one of his classmates? When you really think about it, trying to give it the "realistic" explanation of "nitroglycerin sweat", just makes the quirk all the more confusing, since it's clearly more than that. Though I guess it's just the byproduct of the author clearly being the top Bakugou glazer I've ever seen. One of the reasons I've stopped watching

You missed something. Shigaraki's quirk isn't his original quirk, rather one introduced to him by AFO, so his mentality changing from being a hero to wanting destruction could be argued as a byproduct of essentially a organ replacement.(Which I've heard supposedly does happen, but I'm no doctor of any level so don't quote me on it as a fact)

Why does Uraraka get motion sickness for levitating not-her? The answer is she doesn't, she's in a category shared with Mirio and possibly Izuki where the Quirk doesn't quite have it's logical side-effect, but instead has an imitation. ZG just makes her stomach do silly things, and she's immune to motion sickness otherwise. 3:50 Also, Endeavor and Shoto both take damage in extreme cases. With that said, he Quirk Singularity is more about complexity. 4:20 It would be a spectrum, most people ending up at the limit of what's survivable. 5:20 Also, Izuku (who trains to deal with something similar) has trouble with those grenade-things. 6:20 Granted, that training went fairly quickly once they started. 6:55 The bottom of which is comparable to none. 9:20 Or just animal blood, since the black pudding industry gets it from somewhere.
