(ENSURE THE CLEARANCE HEIGHT WILL CLEAR THE PART AND OR FIXTURES.) (RAISE THE Z-AXIS TO A SAFE HEIGHT BEFORE STARTING THE PROGRAM.)" the problem is it also appear in mach3 g code and no working on my CNC machine when I want to milling . Thanks for help

How do you constraint angles? Lets say im sketching the angular bisectors of a triangle, how can i sketch a line constrained to one of the vertices and bisecting its angle? Can equal constraint be applied to angles?

Any chance we'll ever see the ability to open older mechanical desktop files? I'd think it's kind of embarrassing that currently you have to use Solidworks to do that, then bring it into Fusion from there. Even if you have to do a bit more cumbersome thing like turning off layers in that file during the import procedure.

As you said it can solve some otherwise impossible problems to solve, this really needs to be part of the standard package not the extension.

Fusion 360 has undoubtedly evolved a lot in recent years. But there are certain points that could be improved, such as: Design: • More materials, such as thermoplastics, D2, nickel-based alloy, etc. • The ability to use a rectangular pattern with a checkbox to apply an angle. There are times when I want to use an angle to create holes on a cylinder, but I have to manually design each hole using the tangent plane or move command. Manufacture: • Better control over the tailstock when using milling operations. Currently, this is only possible with manual NC. They could create an option like they did with the sub-spindle, and similarly, in the machine kinematics, there could be an option for the tailstock instead of the sub-spindle. • In drilling, when choosing feed and speed, we could have the option of setting the default peck. • Allowing the creation of machines within the cutting data of a tool for better separation of speeds and feeds. • The ability to create end mills with chamfers and respective angles instead of only having the option for a radius. • When creating cutting speeds, make them material- and machine-specific, with options for slotting, ramping helix angles, finishing, etc. • Better representations of the Renishaw probe, as it currently seems they only have those available for Haas machines. • In the Cutting Data space for threading tools, they could add more options like SFM, thread pitch, and the number of step-downs instead of just the basic spindle speed. • The ability to introduce the vise or lathe chuck directly in the Manufacturing model instead of the Design workspace for better separation between workspaces.

for some reason the midpoints are not showing up for me... I read that I need to hold SHIFT and hover and this worked for me last time I was doing something, but now (I dont know why, might be an update? ) it does not even show up when I hover... I just want to a midpoint of an arc to be vertically constraint to the midpoint of an edge of a part (on the same plane as the sketch)... the only way I can do it atm is make a construction line, midpoint constraint it to the edge and then vertically constraint the midpoint of the arc to the construction line... but I feel like it should be possible to do this easier, without having to use a construction line... can someone help me?

Modify really needs to be part of the normal subscription not the mfg extension. The amount of time I spend trying to get fusion to lead/link properly is insane. One example/reason for this is that "preferred entry/exit position" is merely treated as a suggestion to the tool path not a requirement.
@paramtrx95585 күн бұрын
I recommended to them a while ago that the point you select the geometry should/could also be the lead in and lead out position in one shot.

I can’t justify it at work until I have a paying job for it. But I want to play around with it!
@BlairAltman4 күн бұрын
I recently submitted the same concern in the user survey they sent out. They can't keep hiding features behind expensive add ons and at the same time increase the cost of the base license. I get charging more for something like 5 axis toolpaths since that is typically only going to be used by a larger manufacturer that isn't as concerned about the software cost but for people that want to learn and grow with fusion for hobby or small business they need to carefully look at their current charge more and give them less strategy.

How about an export option that includes sketches that can be opened in featurecam?
@seabreezecoffeeroasters79949 күн бұрын
Is that an issue with Fusion or more of a Featurecam needing to allow an Import Format?
@clkeck19 күн бұрын
Fusion doesn't include sketches when it imports or exports files. Currently we have to use featurcam to program our wire edm and it's 100x easier to create the chain geometry in fusion or inventory than in featurecam. But fusion won't include the sketch in a x_t, step, or smt
@seabreezecoffeeroasters79949 күн бұрын
@@clkeck1 I thought F3Z included Sketches and all info? I do know a bunch of the others don't like stp, iges, itp.
@adskFusion8 күн бұрын
the .f3d and .f3z file types will both contain the sketch information. FeatureCAM does support the import of native Fusion files so my first step would be to attempt that to see if sketches are brought in as well. Assuming they are not, you could export your sketches as a DXF file and import those into FeatureCAM separately depending on how you need to use them. Ultimately we would love to hear from you as a WireEDM programmer! We are looking into how our customers are programming EDM machines currently to investigate how we can improve the experience for manufacturers in all areas with Fusion. We have already been collecting feedback with the following survey. If you have a minute to complete it we would really appreciate your insight! autodeskfeedback.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_4PxMRUfxsVAZNJ4

Is there a way to convert a f3d file to a prt file with the tree timeline?
@adskFusion8 күн бұрын
Hi Christoforosmk, Unfortunately at this time Fusion does not support directly exporting to a PRT file, however there are lots of standard file types you could export to that can be opened in your software such as a .STEP file. When exporting a step file you can do so as an assembly that would maintain the assembly tree when opened externally, however if you are referring to the timeline, this is not something that can be exported as it's features and functionality are only available in Fusion. Hope this helps!
