Adding Gears to your Designs in Autodesk Fusion

Can I use the spur gear add-on to build a helical tooth gear? If not, how would you suggest I go about modelling one please?

Great question Mr Rctintin! The spur gear add on can't do helical gears, however there are several other add ons for Fusion that can do helical tooth gears! Check out the Fusion App Store. Alternatively you can insert a manufacturer helical gear as shown in the video :)

Buggiest software I have ever used. INB4 a 10 year old youtube account purchased by Autodesk says otherwise.

Definitely not the buggiest, but also not without bugs. As an SDE that does CAD as a hobby, I cannot even begin to describe how complex this program is and the fact that it runs as well as it does is a miracle. That said, saving happens pretty much instantly and Autodesk pays for the storage, so I've just learned to hit CMD+S after every couple operations if I'm doing something laggy. I also use fusion like an idiot and I'm certain that the way I construct my designs and do my CAM is a large part of the problem lol
