one thing that always amazed me, is how much skilled you need to be to make a baggy outfit work, compared to the classics.

I thought I noticed you shift a bit back to baggy a little while back! Y’know I always loved your style and tried to copy it when I was your student, lol 😅 You were very gracious and answered my questions then, but this deep dive was fantastic, I enjoyed all the details and tips! Can’t wait for more!

the green cargo northface is my fav. also how do you keep your shoes so clean?!
@JardySantiago
@JardySantiago Ай бұрын
@@BoSlowEnglish love those cargos! Funny thing is I’ve barely worn them since buying them. I feel like they’re too “special” for everyday wear. As for the shoes, I usually have indoor and outdoor shoes 😆. I’ve worn the blue ones out though - I just clean them after dancing in public.

@@BoSlowEnglishlol yeah they’re definitely useful! My indoor dance shoes end up cleaner than my outdoor non-dance shoes even. Also I’ve started to have indoor dance clothes recently too that I haven’t worn out 😄

I keep wanting to stomp down on the kick, but I see it being taught to stomp on the hi hats. Which is it? Makes a difference when transitioning to other steps if the timing is off. It seems more natural to stomp the kick to me. Any thoughts?
@JardySantiago
@JardySantiago 2 ай бұрын
I've seen many people do both! From my experience, though, stomping on the hi-hat makes more sense musically and aesthetically, and it transitions better into the other moves. Overall, more people stomp on the hi-hat. You should do what feels natural for you.

Hey there! Is this also called the "Chicken Head"? That's what I've heard the people who made the dance call it before. But I've also heard this term
@JardySantiago
@JardySantiago 2 ай бұрын
@@rockyroadorange101 hey! So from what I’ve heard from a lot of people, including folks from St Louis where this move was created, the chicken head is a different move. I’ve also seen the chicken head, and it does look similar, so I understand the confusion.
