IS THIS COMPANY STILL IN BUSINESS?? The entire website has been UNDER CONSTRUCTION for YEARS and EVERY SINGLE PRODUCT SAYS "OUT OF STOCK". Their instagram page has not been updated in YEARS... And the facebook page also has not been updated in YEARS.. I worry about WARRANTY if the company is not reachable. They appear to have NO CONTACT INFORMATION on the page (all under construction).

True. I thought they were out of stock the whole time. They clearly didn’t update their website. Just found out there’s an authorised dealer selling quicklatch at e-bay. A legit one. Do you happen to know which other website does sell QL 38 hood pins? Thanks.

Sort of weird that the quick latch dudes use springs and extra hardware but don’t sell those items w/ the kit. Not a huge deal. I don’t think you need the extras, but when the manufacture does a video w/ its product, it’s kind of strange they show using items that they don’t sell as part of the kit.

How would these go on a rally car. You get a lot more vibration and dirt with rallying, would you have an increase in wear and would dust and dirt affect the release operation?

I received my kit from Amazon had to order 2 it did not come with the spring and spring retainer but is what I was looking for I have splitter and heat exchanger so I'm always removing the bumper due to its poor design of latching to the fenders this product works as described and is great for quick removal for road racing or drag.. great job

ThatGuyKappa The kit comes with some industrial grade thread locking compound that prevents the retention rings from backing off
@Thr33.Sid3z6 жыл бұрын
Why would you need "anti-backing set screws"? The kit doesnt even require screws to begin with. Maybe like some lock nuts for the pins, but like +Quik-Latch Products mentioned, they include *Industrial Grade Thread Locker* in the kit, so those nuts/Retention Rings arent moving. I've had my Quik-Release Bumper kit on for 5+ years, and Never had a problem!

would 2 of these be enough to properly secure the hood on a honda crx by them selves?
@quik-latchdistribution5956 жыл бұрын
The Mini Quik-Latches are not intended for use as primary hood latch mechanisms. If you need a primary hood latch mechanism, the QL-38 series hood pin kits or the QL-50 series hood pin kits would be more appropriate choices.

Question - what does leaving the square bracket actually do? Because my front bumper is like gone. I took it to a body shop and they said there’s is absolutely not bumper left under the front fascia - meaning my bumper no longer has any of the bracket clips or anything. So do I really need to keep that plastic bracket
@quik-latchdistribution5956 жыл бұрын
You can use just that latches without the bracket clips if you must. The modified bracket clips aid in maintaining OEM fitment and help provide rigidity behind the bumper. Before this video was produced, many people threw the brackets away. Our take is that modification of the brackets and retaining their use allows for the best overall result.
