+Quik-Latch Products You guys keep making better and better products every season! Cant wait to get my QL-38L-LP/BP kit!!! I've had the QL-25 Mini latches for about 5 years. I bought them for a quick release bumper on my Subaru GC8 but nobody made a bracket. Now that i have an Evo 8, i can finally use them as soon as i get the brackets! You Guys Rock!!!

Also curious, would they be strong enough to act as the sole hood latch as I can no longer get a hood striker for my car anymore

Is there any problem with ice breaking the interior?

How would these go on a rally car. You get a lot more vibration and dirt with rallying, would you have an increase in wear and would dust and dirt affect the release operation?

IS THIS COMPANY STILL IN BUSINESS?? The entire website has been UNDER CONSTRUCTION for YEARS and EVERY SINGLE PRODUCT SAYS "OUT OF STOCK". Their instagram page has not been updated in YEARS... And the facebook page also has not been updated in YEARS.. I worry about WARRANTY if the company is not reachable. They appear to have NO CONTACT INFORMATION on the page (all under construction).

True. I thought they were out of stock the whole time. They clearly didn’t update their website. Just found out there’s an authorised dealer selling quicklatch at e-bay. A legit one. Do you happen to know which other website does sell QL 38 hood pins? Thanks.

Are these strong enough to hold down a CF hood with no oem latch?
@genesssisss6 жыл бұрын
Firm Handshake of course man
@Thr33.Sid3z6 жыл бұрын
These things are strong enough to hold like 6-700lbs
@andrewmellan11566 жыл бұрын
@@Thr33.Sid3z really? So they would work as the main hood hold down?
@badass98svt6 жыл бұрын
LOL that's what they are designed to do, I would hope they would hold your hood down.
@andrewmellan11566 жыл бұрын
@@badass98svt I've had mixed responses when asked. Some say yes some say no. I ended making my own hood latch.

No anti backing set screws awwwwwwww mang
@primer01306 жыл бұрын
ThatGuyKappa The kit comes with some industrial grade thread locking compound that prevents the retention rings from backing off
@Thr33.Sid3z6 жыл бұрын
Why would you need "anti-backing set screws"? The kit doesnt even require screws to begin with. Maybe like some lock nuts for the pins, but like +Quik-Latch Products mentioned, they include *Industrial Grade Thread Locker* in the kit, so those nuts/Retention Rings arent moving. I've had my Quik-Release Bumper kit on for 5+ years, and Never had a problem!
