Sadly it is already 15 years ago today since the last DominoDay was on tv... But luckily we have you! This is getting bigger and better each year and I am truly amazed by the quality of this years WDC. I think all the building techniques used are at least on par with what they did with DominoDay, and you even manage to come up with some great new effects that I have never seen before. I can't wait to see you set up a million dominoes. That would be a really huge milestone!

some of this was the best i ever seen but most of it was the worst I ever seen thanks to the horrible running of the camera. You all need to fire your camera man on this video cuz es god awful. This show should have been the best ever on you tube but was halted cuz of the lack of camera man skillz. Sorry just being a realist.

This is incredible. How is this possible!? You make it feel like the event called 'domino day' is coming back. Although it's on a small scale but, that doesn't change the feeling of creating a masterpiece.

As someone who saw Domino Day as a kid this has always been 1 of my secret loves. Combined with where my heart lies being an Amusement park this has got to be my favorite Domino video EVER. Also that Merry-Go-Round was a gorgeous piece of work and the way it fell was amazing.

@Wdomino3 ай бұрын
Thanks!
@DutchDominoTeam3 ай бұрын

I loved this so much! 860,000 dominoes is an insane number, so great job to the entire team! My favorites were the the structures in the asian garden, the falling rooves of the asian houses and the Egyptian pyramid as well! (even though it didn't fully work). I also really enjoyed the shark fallwall behind the wall, that was quite a surprise! And those ending structures were so cool! Great job! Can't wait for next year! (1,000,000 dominoes maybe?!)

I really liked this year's edition a lot, perhaps it was a little simpler than last year due to the nature of the complexity of the topic on time travel but I think that was the beauty of this year... a theme very enjoyable and is also very easy to understand despite the number of dominoes used. It can be a good starting point to inspire us regarding the topic of colors and how to make the most of the use of each tone in the color palette. I think that the announcement of the themes that you made on social networks months before the event was what I liked the most because it is clear that you wanted to bring to real life what you had in mind in the drawings that you published and you did it quite well, from the pyramids and hieroglyphics in the "Desert Dunes" section to the discovery of sea creatures and treasures in "Wonderful Waterworld" (which by the way, this last section for me has been a good inspiration for Domino Day 2005). There are so many things to say but personally the parts I liked the most in their respective sections were in the minutes: 2:48, 6:25, 9:48, 12:57 and 16:12... overall, I liked that you have been more creative in terms of the ways to knock down large domino fields and you have been more minimalist like the waterfall bridge or the Chinese bridge, and the ending was really great, I have always liked the idea that the part where the topple begins with the huge field of colors is where it ends with those large structures spelling out WDC 2024. A great event, a great result and congratulations once again with the new amateur world record... we look forward to seeing you next year with more surprises and things to say about domino art on a large scale! 😉👍

This year was truly the best event yet! What a success! My favorite part was the top righthand section with the Asian gardens at 12:58 and 13:30. The density of these projects combined with multiple types of tricks (both flat and 3D structures) makes this absolutely stunning! All in all, this was a gorgeous falldown with fantastic designs and decor pieces that really elevate the project to a whole new level! It was a joy to be a part of the team, and I am already excited for the next one :)
