i'm confused what this is supposed to offer... does everyone walk around with one in their pocket? Why is there one in the window of the building and is there another one in your pocket? How is it connected to wifi or bluetooth from this distance? I am trying to understand practical current applications, but from what I see this is a portable wifi hub. Scenario: If I had an 100 acre plot of hunting woodlands, would every hunter carry one or would I post up many around the property with solar devices? And how would this "network" upload to the internet? Remember to sell a faraday bag with your doomsday scenario, these devices are useless off grid if the electronics are fried :P

how is this useful outside of a city...or more far reaching than a cell network? wireless networks usually need a password...very few are open publicly, at least here.

It's funny how the eliminated the abilty to get to a smart sphonws battery. Even after it runs out of charge, it keeps just enough for location. So we have to go old school and black bag it. Get foil and make sure it's completely enclosed. No tears or openings. A double wrap works if it very thin foil. Once covered, your phone is untrackable. Try it out yourself. It sounded crazy until I tried it. Use it ahen you need and cover. They'll get a quick ping but then you're gone. They can't follow you. By tracking your movements, they can know a lot about you. They can even hear everything you say. There was a protest in China and they pinged every phone and arrested the ones who were there. The phones also lost any ability to call. I'm sure some had their phones covered and got away with it lol. This trick might come in handy one day so keep it in mind lol.

bro ..... Bold claims here .... Try sending a 4k 60fps youtube video over lora from that distance and tell me which phone company you want to resign first .-. I worked for Telekom Base stations the huge cell towers that provide the cell signal and the massive amount of power they radiate and the amount of bands they use. Lora can only be a simple SOS beacon or simple IFTTT gadget. Go ask Elon Musk why he invested Bilions of dollars to his satellite internet instead of lora mesh networks .... do your homework first

Love your teck inside, Great🎉, One suggestion I belie e will increase your audience and following : In the begining and in each section start, make a an intro on a human language, real simple user scenarios applications that can keep peoe interested to go to the end of the teck. Yes you did similar, but could you come up with few real life applications, like maybe You live on an island and you and your family are always few miles away, if you would instal a hight Antena....

IMHO all Android devices should have this kind built-in. In emergency situation, you could activate the mode and it would override the cellural network (so you can't keep both same time open) and become member of the mesh network that would then allow transmit messages in whole net or proximity.

1. You dont need a cell phone. A basic tablet will work. 2. It only needs wifi for the setup and updates. 3. The tablet is where the communication APPs are. Yes, you can use this with ATAK. 4. The device sends the encrypted signal. The more people using them, the wider the range and coverage. Yes, there are ways to increase range to 200 miles.
