I was the guy he bluffed. If I didn't call the clock on myself I would of called. I just needed another 15 min to finish counting combos.

A drink with ashwaghanda and caffeine sounds to me like your using the gas and the break at the same time hehe. Ashwaghanda lowers cortisol, I think that's the main effect. Caffeine increases cortisol secretion, so that would work counter to the ashwaghanda. I do sometimes use ashwaghanda in the evening to enhance sleep. I can see on my sleep tracker that it reduces my resting heart rate and I feel more rested when I wake up. Great conversation by the way. Interesting that he has a few climbing gyms. I'm into bouldering, it's a fantastic way to train and play.

I will admit, he’s really good at marketing. Getting a bunch of known pros and influencers (including yourself) to endorse his app - that you haven’t even tried out yet - means he must be good at paying for endorsements, or he has certainly convinced you that it’s awesome - again, even without you trying it out. Questions that still remain unknown / unanswered - who audits the security team? If someone is caught botting or colluding - since you don’t hold onto their money, how do you expect that app not to be BOMBARDED With Bots and AI - they literally have nothing to lose? I mean, these are pretty important questions, also, anyone who says “it’s encrypted / can’t be hacked, etc.” MGM got hacked with ransomware . . . . Mic drop. So many unanswered questions. He’s great at marketing - I’ll admit that - and I try to learn from people whom I disagree with the most - so hopefully I’ve learned to become a more efficient marketer from him.

This is such a terrible idea on many fronts. What does phenom poker do when they catch collusion or bots? They aren’t holding onto the $$$, so they just get away with it? And the KYC (know your customer feature) can very easily be manipulated- so if a bot gets caught, they can just make more bots; and since they “never hold onto the $$$” there is no real punishment for colluding or botting….. It’s great that Mr Valeo is trying to bring safety and security to internet poker, but not holding onto the funds is probably the BIGGEST red flag because it gives the site no authority to stop cheating and colluding. What’s even worse is if you bring it up to him, he has no answer. Instead of Phenom Poker actually addressing these concerns they just say “we’re the greatest and best and we can’t be hacked.” Too many red flags imo

Seriously tuned in to hear how Matt Valeos new poker software and site and how different it is. And all we heard was philosophy without any hard substance and how they are better. Sure, they have ‘many big influential players endorsing it’…. But that doesn’t really explain how they are different besides endorsements. This guy doesn’t seem like he understands online poker; just that he’s REALLY EXCITED that a bunch of people are going to be trying out his software. Nothing substantial here; just personal stuff with a fluff of what may be to come. Shaking my head.
