My jaw just hit the floor. I clicked on this video for the Corp content. Took a minute to realize who’s filming. I saw Sungazer open for Plini in Denver a couple years back. Those guys shred so hard, a drum corp playing that is nuts. Of course it’s the Bluecoats to do it, they melted my mind with the Pink Floyd cover in 2016, was lucky to see that one live. This is a massive collab!

man...when you walked from the warm-up area of the park to the stadium in Allentown I could smell the mix of diesel fumes, duck poo, sweet grass, and food trucks altogether

The girls in this sport are sooo athletic and hot! I was around this for a few years. It’s hard core! I saw blood run out the spit valve on trumpets! 😳👁️ the super hot women love the semi sub masculine men they are cute nerdy and hung! Lol the hotels the parties the luxurious busses RVS! Rich patrons rich kids! Who would believe it? I saw the women track shorts no under wear! Shaved stuff hanging out hot Sun tans! BUT SERIOUSLY, THESE ARE HIGH END YOUNG PEOPLE! SMART AND TOUGH! FEW PEOPLE KNOW WHAT GOES INTO PUTTING ON A CHAMPIONSHIP BAND. THE REHEARSALS THE MARCHING IS AS GRUELING AS BOOT CAMP! LEARNING TO GLIDE AND TURN AND PLAY THE INSTRUMENT? 😮😂 ITS ONE THE MOST DIFFICULT ENDEAVORS I EVER WITNESSED. I WAS PERSONAL TRAINER HIGH LEVEL PERFORMANCE ATHLETE 25 yrs.

For real! Drum corps was fun, I was in it in HS and it wasn’t no where at the level of college but all the moves and things are stuff we were doing, A school band, our fb,bb, all sports teams were garbage but our band was awesome and was the thing to be in at our HS.. does anyone get the goosebumps when you see the teams going hard with the moves and the drum skills going full bore?

The amount it costs for members ($6k approximately, not including winter mandatory attendance costs). to participate for what is essentially 5-6 weeks puts the activity out of reach for most young people.

I come from mainly this asian STEM nerd background, and Drum Corps feels like the music major version of .... math olympiads and whatnot. seems like a really invigorating experience to get your chops up and feel the excitement of group settings

Helping my stepson get started in Drum Corp in High School at Round Rock High School then the drum corp for Texas Tech… was one of my best times in life. He played the Tenors (The Group of 5 drums)

That's not Drum Corps. That is marching band. Similar, but fundamentally different. A drum corps is a marching band, a marching band is not a drum corps.
