Uhhh, no. That was only about 55 seconds from max thrust to rotation. I have sat through 72 second take-off runs in a 744 from Sydney to LAX in December, where the temperature was over 40C. Runway 34R in Sydney is 3900m and there is not a lot left at rotation.

Now it flies the A350-900 with 67 business class (1-2-1) and 94 premium economy class (2-4-2). Way lighter than the previously retired A340-500.

A340-500... The real deal 😊 and if I am not mistaken, these were the top of the line with Glass Cockpits ( Plasma displays custom made by Pioneer using Kuro Technology and a lot of extra oxygen bottles for flying over the Himalayas or also flying over the South Pacific and Antarctica ( Aerolineas Argentinas from Buenos Aires EZE to Auckland, NZ or even Sydney, AU ).. These were truly the Rolls Royces in the sky. Not even the Boeings 777-200 LR could match the A340-500 I heard that the last A340-500 still flying is owned by Azerbaijan Airlines. What a pity. Such a fabulous aircraft and most have been scrapped. No wonder why most economies worldwide are sinking because for just a few extra million dollars in benefits, some airlines prefer to literally shred magnificent airliners which sometimes cost a little less than half a billion bucks ( i.e. the many A380s which have been scrapped, shame on the management of those airlines )

I love flying in Japan because it’s so reassuring to see the ground crew bow and wave as the aircraft departs. I don’t think anyone can match the service and hospitality of Japan. Sorry SQ and Changi, you are good but not the best IMO.
