I always put water out for the wildlife. It's just that the bears did a number on my plastic water bowl.

@@GlenwoodBob As someone who lives in the wilds among some HUGE black bears, I wouldn't be doing that. They are now your unwanted guests. Mama bear and her cubs are NOT your friends....Better have your head on a swivel when going outdoors, stay in at night, keep your windows closed and...good luck.

@@Lindy.T I've had various bears on my property for the last twenty years. I'm pretty sure taking away the water will not make them leave, since the Roaring Fork River runs through my property, which is probably the path they took to get here.

It was basically all night. The exact times are in the upper-left corner. They are small, so you probably will need to watch on a TV or monitor to be able to read them.

They look great! I didn't realize there would be an audible signal as well, but that makes sense to ensure it doesn't get accidentally left on. I hope the batteries last a long while between charges!

You can tell they've met many times before with how unsurprised they were to see each other. Looks like the home owners have been leaving food out for these critters. Either that or they patrol the area for snacks regularly.

This is a terrific video. It's great to see the romantic build up as they get more and more into each other. It's impressive to see the patience of the dog-fox and how cool he plays it. The vixen seems rather put out by the tie. That poor dog-fox was probably hoping they could just chill and cuddle a bit, rather than being yanked repeatedly for over twenty minutes. It's sweet to see how playful the vixen is afterwards.

Consider yourself lucky. A raccoon figured out how to detach our feeder from the eye bolt and took the whole thing. We found it in a field behind our house, demolished. I was actually impressed that it figured out how to steal it. Raccoons have to eat too I suppose.

i used to work for the local power company in reading, massachusetts and we're working in a neighborhood when i see a small black dog, then i realize it's a black fox. i wonder how rare they are?

Yes, I still have it. I doubt they made very many, because they were quite expensive and they haven't made them for years, so they probably are rare. I rode mine just a few days ago. I have converted it to an e-bike with a 1000 watt motor. It can go 35 mph on the flats.
