Bob worked with me to obtain the best mirror a frameless with a compass and Homelink 5 and the auto dim. I had a manual mirror without power and now I installed the new mirror today and the wire harness to the fuse block. Thank you for your help. Bob S Jacksonville FL

Battery is non-replaceable in these mirrors, but they should be good for around 10 years per the manufacturer.

Is there such thing as a full frameless mirror that can have a backup camera attached? One that I can use my own camera as I want to add a camera that has dynamic parking lines

While there are full frameless mirrors with backup camera display, the only ones are the Gentex digital full view mirrors...these utilize a digital camera for the mirrors full width display and also offer a separate optional analog backup camera option that displays on the left 1/3 of the mirror. Thank you so much! If I wanted to, can I attach a backup camera to the rear view mirror so that the full display is a backup view when I go in reverse? So that I can see the reverse lines? Vs seeing it in the small window?

@@msmonee91 Unfortunately no. The camera that these mirrors use for the full display function are digital & made to work specifically with the mirror, so you aren't able to replace that camera with anything else. The backup camera display on these mirrors will only appear on the left side of the mirror in the smaller window.

This mirror does not require any wiring. It has a built in battery for the Homelink buttons that, according to the manufacturer, should be good for around 10 years.

As long as your CRV has a standard wedge style of mount on the windshield, yes it will fit (some newer CRV's now use a mirror with a large 4 prong attachment method, so for those it won't work). Any question please email us at [email protected] Thank you!

At 3:38, you mention the white plastic peg that holds the plastic trim in place... How do you pop it loose? Do you just pull it down or slide it sideways?

The tools are available at most auto parts store and from online retailers. It's best to use plastic trim tools whenever possible, as these reduce the chances of scratching or nicking the trim in the vehicle.
