TL:DR; You sadly broke you t26 by too much micro. Don't micro units like in normal RTS game and they will eventually do what you want them to do. Cheers! ~ You tried to micro manage too much. You sadly broke your t-26 here. In game there is a model of orders different than any game. The order comes from the highest in command of selected units. So in this example comander had to say an order to unit members. T26 don't have radio so if one tank saw a target, it don't mean other tank know about it, unles it's calm enough that the tank comander can open a hatch and show orders. Most stuff don't have animation. You should pay attention to icon you have under the unit icon, they will tell you what's happening. In case of that firefight, you should just set priority on that panzer I and leave tanks to fend for themselves. They were turning towards entrenched position so they they were aware of "biggest" threat there. So the moving order kinda broke it's behavior. It happens in this game... but it's fun after you get hang of how to command your units.

My problem with the HUD is I play on a 32 inch screen and the text is still too small to read. Need to make it bigger on the weapons listing so I can see ammo left better.

Never play with own AI units. They are not doing like you need it. Always try to establish AA save zone as early as possible to keep enemy planes on distance and bombard enemy AA units in army general map as much as you can to deny established AA activity so you can use your own airforce. And I haven`t seen that you have dug in your units. Dug in is always better to defend when you have barbwire, trenches and bunkers. After you have dropped your bombs you can use your planes often just to strive the enemy units with their mg`s.
