Never play with own AI units. They are not doing like you need it. Always try to establish AA save zone as early as possible to keep enemy planes on distance and bombard enemy AA units in army general map as much as you can to deny established AA activity so you can use your own airforce. And I haven`t seen that you have dug in your units. Dug in is always better to defend when you have barbwire, trenches and bunkers. After you have dropped your bombs you can use your planes often just to strive the enemy units with their mg`s.

The reason i give my ai units is simply due to income. Each ai gets their own income and so have enough units to cover a flank. But if i take all units to myself then i will get low income and have to spread out my units by a lot. Yes i should have established AA zones earlier my mistake. Also i am not sure if you have seen my series if you say that i haven't dug in? I have a lot of dug in units including some in the back. I started to move towards the last few episodes so i had less units entrenched but i am aware that digging in the is the way to go. Thanks for the tips tho!
