What is the best program to actually draw characters like this? Photoshop or in Animate itself?

When creating the lip sync symbol are you deleting the mouths? Where do they go once added to the timeline?

The part at 2:37 is extremely frustrating because it's the most critical part and you just speed right through it. I've watched that section like 30 times and even slowed it down to 25% and can't see how you are cutting and pasting the mouths to the keyframe.

Seems to only work with the letter L. Considering Premiere Pro can accurately transcribe audio into text, I feel like they should be able to make a much better auto lip sync feature than this

Hi Chad, at 3:22-is your character already separated into parts in another program like a psd file OR are you actually separating the arm, hand, body etc... using a tool here in animate? If so what tool are you using? I have a jpeg image in but how do I separate them? Thanks Chad!

Argh! i was excited to learn this... but i cancelled my subscription of Adobe cloud license (i had that about 10 years).... Is there any alternative way to do automated lip sync?

I was replacing an audio file which already had lip sync to it. Now, I got the new file to lip sync to a point. The new audio is longer than the old one. the lip sync works until it gets to the length of the old audio file, then stops the lip syncing. How do I get the lip sync to continue the whole new audio file?

how to move the head after its already been lipsynced

there's a lot missing. Re: 4.47secs. I can't select my object. Its like there is a grouping set to the entire character. I can't select the hand

Does anyone know if there is a way to do this over a rig? Like where you do auto lip sync, and move the mouth within each frame so it matches up with the head if the head is moving? Hope this makes sense

Dear @Chitchadshow please answer me: I've created a human character with all body parts on different layers. Then converted all the body parts into Movie Clip symbol. However, I placed eyes, eyebrows and lips inside the head symbol and converted them into separate Graphic Symbols. Then I further edited the 'eyes' graphic symbol to create 'pupils' layer within it to create eye blinking animation. Then I selected the entire character and converted into Movie Clip symbol. Is it the right method to create a custom character for later use? Do I need to save my character into Assets separately as 'Static' or 'Animated' Symbol? Do I need to save it after rigging for animation in my storytelling videos? I don't understand the layer and symbol structure for my character. I want to use my character in my story videos. How can I?
