listen, this is probably zamperlas BIGGEST project yet, the closure was caused by stress on the trains / wheels (if im not mistaken) so there will obviously be at least some problems. also intamin went through this too where they were bad, but look at them now! also intamin made TTD

So very cool that you got to attend this event. Thanks for sharing all that 'backstage' stuff! The views from the top of Wonder Mountain are breathtaking. I can only imagine what they'll be when the ride is completed! Here's hoping for a mild Canadian winter so the construction stays on course!

It’s one of Orlando’s best hidden gems, you should totally check it out one day! 🤪 It was such an incredible day though, and I’m already scheming my next visit (I don’t think I could handle waiting 8 years between visits again).

Veloci is easily my #1 Coaster in the world, but I'm more of a themed thoosie than a true thoosie & my count is only around 90, so I'm a bit biased. Glad you loved Kong & Hulk as well, really hoping the outdoor scene comes back ASAP on Kong

VelociCoaster is definitely my number one right now for that exact reason! The coaster experience is already top notch, but the theming pushes it over the edge.

What a fun park to start it out in. When those 2 rides get you wet, they get you wet. Love the opening montage upgrade -but the video needed more time on the Rocky & Bullwinkle banner. Happy Season 8. Oh did anything ever happen with the poke bowl noodles?

It was the perfect park to kick off the trip with. I’m glad you enjoyed the opening montage, but I don’t think I could ever possibly have enough footage of Toon Lagoon 😉 And, and nothing much happened with the noodles aside from the fact that they went a little lighter like I showed in the video. However, it did earn a spot as one of my all time favourite theme park meals, so that must count for something 🤪🎏

Man i have to say you really won me over on Zootopia coming to DAK. I was super against its Tough to be a Bug leaving for a movie not based on non-animorphoc animals, but your reasoning is spot on. Im pretty damn excited for everything else coming, ESPECIALLY the loaded lineup for DCA & DAK. Sorry to say, im ready for DinoLand to go;) I know youre a DinoLand lover so im sorry to say that hahaha. Tropical Americas will be so perfect tho luckily

Haha thank you! Like I said, I wouldn’t want to see a full Zootopia Land, but I think the Tree of Life show will be a good way to introduce the characters to the park without compromising the integrity of Animal Kingdom. And as sad as I am about seeing Dinoland go, I am very excited for Tropical Americans. It seems very well thought out and the attractions seem fun, so I think it will be a worthy replacement. And to be fair, I think my mourning for Dinoland isn’t so much about it the land itself, but for the fact that we’re losing dinosaurs in the park. But who’s to say they can’t return in a future expansion?

The name "Alpenfest" was on the original design documents for Canada's Wonderland prior to the park opening. As far as I understand, the International Festival name was to be used as an overarching name for two mini-lands: Alpenfest and a never-built area listed as "Mediterranean Village" (which would have been located on the hill where Vortex and Lazy Bear Lodge are now). Those plans are now on display in Wonderland Store at Front Gate. AFAIK, the Alpenfest name was only ever used on the park maps to refer to the games complex, and around 2018 Wonderland added a sign on what's now the Tiny Tom Donuts building which read "AlpenFest Amusements." Finally Alpenfest will officially be listed as a themed area of the park in 2025! 🥳

Of course I'm most excited for the changes coming to the DLR area. There's those unused buildings in Avengers Campus that can host the new rides, but the other stuff I'm not sure about the rest of it. The stuff coming to the World is great, except I'm not pleased about the rivers of America. When I went down in January I was hearing rumblings about Pecos Bill's becoming the Pirates bar combining it with Tortuga Tavern. The one piece of news about Disneyland had me investing in a much of erasers, as now I need to hear how they're handing the queue and such. Oh were to I have a friend who knows something about themeparks...

@@AdventuresWithParker Yeah Parker, there's that land in back of Avengers Campus that goes out toward Harbor Blvd that might be used, but you're getting close to Desert Palms and Candy Cane Inn. I had heard when the Anaheim project passed that some of the parking lots would used for park expansion and that parking structures would be put in place, so some of the Simba lot could be used dissecting part of Disneyland Drive, and then giving Pixar Place guests a dedicated entrance into DCA. Good thing you'll have a friend of the channel ( and occasional guest star) in that area in 97 days <G>

I love how the plot of AlpenFury actually pays homage to the real life history of Wonder Mountain. In the plot synopsis it mentions how the climbing trails up Wonder Mountain have been closed for decades after stories popped up about beasts and mystical forces now inhabiting it. This is a reference to how the real life Wonder Mountain walking trails were closed back in 1986 to make room for new coasters, such as Thunder Run, Vortex and Wonder Mountain's Guardian.

It will Not overthrow Curtin's Title it ties it they both have 9 inversions anyone telling you curtIn has 8 inversions is lying! Both have 9 Inversions so unless you count launch and add the prefix of launch coasters, it ties the record!
