Government sanctioned robbery is what it is. It’s a shame and needs to be stopped. Immediately.

Girl, I never had allergy problems but now that I’m off drugs and I’m not snorting anything I have the worst allergies ever like my family thinks I’m getting high sometimes but yes, I know all about this. I still can’t smell things.

The prison system is just another money making venture and people are treated horribly. So many in jail were abused themselves as kids and have had trauma and instead of having the help needed to heal and become a healthy productive person they just get more trauma and torture. Other countries actually have prison systems that heal inmates, but not in the US. Here we're all about making a profit off of inmates and hurting people. The whole system is sick.

The last month is a b****... And the lifers send their little punks after you to mess with you because they know you're getting out... I don't know why they let everybody know people's outdate when you're in there., well actually I do because people get debts in there... The place is filled with conv men too, bastards caught me up in a pyramid on the outside and almost got me in about two other things... I'm not exactly dumb a little street smart little book smart but these people are trained pros they get millions out of exceptionally smarter people than me...

I watched a show about this! I think it was in Indiana where the prison was on the show and it showed how they help these nonviolent women get an education and help them find a job for when they get out they even had other nonviolent offenders in the program that worked as "nannies" in a separate building completely away from the actual prison for when the mothers went to class during the day or whatever they needed to do. They had a playground and area outside for the mom's to take the children and babies. You can Google the show but at this one the mom's had to have like 2 years or less left on their sentence and had to apply to get into the program bc there was only so much room. They had a little room in there though full of baby clothes, diapers, wipes, cribs, decorations, etc, for the moms to go in like a store to get stuff for their babies. They were only allowed so much stuff but still it was really neat and they also had social workers and counselors and stuff that would meet with the mom's to help them when they got out and while they were in there to help them learn to be better mom's.

You have dealt with this sensitively, Tina. You're a good woman. As for me, I have no sense of smell (anosmia), so I wouldn't know if I smelled or you smelled- it's kind of my superpower in bad conditions. :)

As a plumber I was working a service call in a prison and found a "me time tool" that was sculpted out of jolly ranchers that had been melted together... was both a wtf moment and a second wtf moment all in one. Crazy thing was that the next day i found a bar soap version in the males prison nearby. Hated doing plumbing in jails/prisons
