Man if they are going to utilize the Quetzalcoatlus again I would kind of hope to see it stalking them on the ground, because that's how those types of pterosaurs hunted. It could make for some intense scenes too.

Suchomimus is fantastic, looks reasonably accurate too, while being somewhat stylized. In fact I don't think we need the Spino back if we have a Sucho looking just like the ones in Chaos theory.

That's a strange beef Aaron has with the idea of dinosaurs in cold climates. It was one of the main appeals of Dominion, seeing it for the first time outside of a documentary. The reason why Dominion was a financial hit (whereas word of mouth was mostly bad when the film came out) was marketing, and snow was all over the marketing material. In the lead up to the release and in the wake of it I consumed some unhealthy amounts of fan content and nobody was having an issue with the cold and the snow... Anyway, you know what's ecologically unsustainable? Dinos on small islands as a functioning ecosystem on the long term. The predators are bound to eradicate the herbivors at some point given their hunting prowess and their alimentary needs, then starve themselves to death.

There are 5 deaths, Isla muerte, the island of DEATH, Isla Sorna, the island of SARCASM (or sister), Isla Matanceros, the island of zero kills (??), Isla Pena, PENALTY island, and finally, Isla Tacano, stingy island(?). Isla Nublar is cloud island.

What I don't care for too much is giving the Kryptops big arms, it was an abelisaur, like carnotaurus, that means they had tiny arms, the forearm was also quite a bit shorter than the humerus. It looks more like a carcharodontosaur with the arms. But I like the scales, and the spines on top look neat this time. Almost reminds me of tuataras or iguanas.

I think from a story point of view the 3 most colossal animals must share some sort of genetic trait for animals of that size that the protagonists obviously need and the dinosaurs eventually receding into more tropical environments makes the most sense out of anything. They just were never evolved for colder environments plus the modern clones were all bred for tropical environments to begin with so it would makes sense that if most of the dinosaurs descended from those clones then they would find it much easier migrating to tropical areas then to adapt to colder environments.

Speaking of an underworld or 'lost world', at the beginning of The Lost World novel Crichton while talking about extinction talks about 'the lost world hypothesis' about how isolated systems could survive undisturbed, but of course everyone and their friend logic saw that would not happen, and i feel like thats a little too goofy and GXK like for the Jurassic world semi groundedness

I look forward to them continuing to act like The Lost World never happened. I have been 100% on board with this movie every step of the way aside from david letch being director, that was my first major concern. But now knowing Zora is a millitary operative, and this may be another story that ignores the academic world broadly, i am really fcking concerned. I hope the military has no involvement, idk how much yall know about the history of pentagon involvement in film, especially the last 20 years, but it has been extremely intrusive and has ruined many movies, INCLUDING another Gareth Edwards film, Godzilla. As good as that movie was, it was limited by pentagon involvement. The female MUTO attack on Las Vegas was cut back because she "embarrassed" the military. Plus, the main character being a military guy and not the nuclear scientist (Cranston) is the same thing we suffered with in Jurassic World around the same time with Pratt, even thought pratt was a scientist, we got no development of that in his character in the story, ever really in any movie. Another movie that suffered this fate, Independence Day Resurgence, that movie was literally straight up military recruitment propaganda. Im hopeful Rebirth will surprise us but i cant help but be concerned

i think if they called it jurassic park, people would be like "wait, are the new movies no longer canon?" i think we got the call back in the first movie "that first park was legit" and its just world from here on out.
