An inspiring book. We can break the shackles of authority that hold us down and manipulate. But are we ready for this? Yes, we are.

Now instead of one tyrant, we a have collective group of companies calling the shots; we slap a sticker of democracy on it, and call it progress. When the system is criticized, the sheep baa and say “get out of our country” or “go back to xyz country.”

I see white people here saying this is a master piece because of the many personified characters, the humour etc. They do not understand the pain with which we Africans perceive this book. 😢How our own people turned against us and became like the colonizer. And sadly, it is the case todate. It's a painful read, but eye opening. I do not know how the Europeans and whites perceive it and how they understand it

The only pig I liked in the book was old Major, I like to believe he would have been a leader with good intentions and a kind heart, then again I could be wrong, maybe he would have followed the same path as Napoleon. I liked Boxer too, because even though he wasn’t the brightest, he worked hard and selflessly under the belief it would give his comrades a happy life, when he died it was very sad : /

I am grateful to you. This is the first time I've read a book in English, and I definitely had luck to find this wonderful video. The narration and pronunciation by a native speaker are a great help for me.

This is extremely well done. They went from freedom for all animals, to all animals working to keep the system that enslaved them alive, to a half democracy, to full communism worse than they faced in the beginning… he painted the pictures of how quickly and easily that line can be blurred. And the role the sheep and horse play along the way is brilliant. Very well written.

I’m a kiwi and yesterday my friend that works at a factory said they were being abused by their boss, being told to clean up near mousetraps the kind that can bite your hand off. He got real mad and understandably so! yet he will be the one being made to apologise. It makes me sad to see people work so hard yet reap so little reward, especially young people with so much hope and potential. There is something very wrong with our system :/

Cant help but think the sheep would also say " black lives matter" " this is what democracy looks like" " from the river to the sea" " transgender rights are human rights" and all the other meaningless slogans of useful idiots.
