Have a certain pre trip and post trip, eg: around the truck check all tires pop the hood check the same things in the same order. Don't talk on te phone while doing it. You make the order and follow it day after day. That is what's wrong here.

If your audience would just pay attention to the details in the video. When you start to walk back to the handle, it shows the the drive axles and trailer. Notice there is no air lines or electric cord hooked to trailer or hanging in front of first drive axle. Also, trailer is higher than truck frame AND Drive tires. Besides all that you're parked along a curb. Good job flip flop driver; you showed who the rookies are !!!!😂😂😂😂

I was surprised nobody said you need to give it a test tug before before you lift the landing gear and try to take off.

You should have dumped your suspension on the truck and backed up enough to get under the edge of the trailer to lift it up a bit since your air brakes locked when it came unhooked.
