0:38, hey I think that was me lol! I use a similar type of frozen feeder to you guys but it's a version designed by DBR_REEF that doesn't need an expensive reversible pump like the neptune ones you guys run. It feeds directly into the return line through a manifold and the return line flushes out the manifold as it flows past so that no food rots/gets stuck. The only cons are that the minifridge has to be right next to the return pump and the food also has to come out of the return nozzle in the display tank (this is a con as some fish try to chew on my return locline). It also allows to use much thicker diameter tubing for the peristaltic pump so you can feed much coarser/bigger foods without clogging the pump lines.

Great video with lots of info! Question, what type of tile are you guys using on the back walls of the aquarium? Where can I purchase some for my tank?

How many time total with the feeder and the liquid

Hi thanks for sharing all the info you do. I am in the UK and not seen liquid food like those shown in the fridge. Is that to keep at specific temp is it live food?
@ReefAquariaDesign_Ай бұрын
You need to always keep them in the fridge.

The yellow coris wrasse are great initial fish to add to a one month or more running reef aquarium. The key to keeping several types of wrasse, or even anthias especially, is more frequent smaller feedings per day vs once or twice daily larger feedings of your reef aquarium. On the large reefs, say 500 gallons plus to 5,000 gallons is a refrigerated liquids feeds system to keep everyone satiated during daylight hours. There are also 7 growing mandarins from Biota in that particular 400 gallon softie reef and they are growing up from when we first bought them at 1” max size
@glub9075Ай бұрын
Hey guys, I see in the first tank you showed in this video, there is a trio of halichoeres chrysus wrasses. I'm planning a wrasse dominated 430 gallon tank and would like to have a couple of the chrysus wrasses. How are you finding them in terms of aggression with conspecifics and such?
@Tohei08Ай бұрын
Disappointed he didn't mention a CBB. I would absolutely throw one in a new tank to get comfortable before adding the tang gang.
@glub9075Ай бұрын
I think he is mostly talking about easier fish to keep, which a cbb is definitely not one of them.
