Very late comment, but have you used this often? If yes, how have you managed the filter paper collapsing on itself during the bloom phase?

Have you ever tried those coffee?? Though They were good, I would brew coffee by myself…

@@KAMECOFFEEBaristaVlogtoSora I haven't tried them. I've tried other brands though but I still prefer brewing coffee myself because it's cheaper 😅, even if I use good beans.

I been using the method you showed in another video, the 90/50/45/45 pour. Really works well with my Timemore S3 grinder. Thanks a lot❤

Nice to know you reply in english. Been using your V60 recipe for weeks now and even use it on the Origami+kalita wave filter. Works great

Thank you for watching my video! Even in japan, using origami dripper + kalita wave is trend(I often see such brewers in the coffee shops)
If you are going to use room temperature water, you need to immerse it longer than using hot water because the lower the temperature the reaction is slower. Try using the switch but let it immerse for 30 minutes and then try it again for 1 hour and taste them both. It should taste better. Great video and great experiment.
@KAMECOFFEEBaristaVlogtoSora4 ай бұрын
Interesting! Actually, when we make cold brew coffee, let it immerse for more than 8 hours right? But you mean just we need 30 minutes to wait finishing extraction if we use room temperature water. Very Nice!
@gbagaskoro24 ай бұрын
@@KAMECOFFEEBaristaVlogtoSora it's estimation 😁. Exact time would need another experiment.
Better getting the Hario Switch or clever dripper. But the price is irresistible

Beautiful video. Love the music. Trying to learn all about the Kalita Wave dripper/filters/process. Not certain if this method produces better coffee, but willing to try, and learn. Currently use a Melita pour over setup with their filters. Never really dialed in the grind and amount of coffee and water for a specific result.
What if water flow is not balanced? One cup has more coffee than the other 😅
@KAMECOFFEEBaristaVlogtoSora9 ай бұрын
The taste is completely different. But too difficult for me to brew the same amount😵💫
@gbagaskoro29 ай бұрын
@@KAMECOFFEEBaristaVlogtoSora I can imagine that the flow would be inequal between holes because the microscopic space between coffee grinds is not even. Not a problem with other drippers because all of the water flows to the same container
