The best version of myself has nothing to do with the acquisition of tangible crap. My best self is enhanced by investing in experiences outside the home, then coming home to an empty and uncluttered space. I'm also a creative. You talked about femineity. As a guy that had 2 alcoholic parents it is about my masculinity.. Getting to my Inner Child I need to go through my Inner Critical Parent and my Inner Teenager.. You could even add my Inner Loving Parent.. My "normal" was to be hypervigilant and having an heightened nervous system.. When I was not in that environment anymore I was bored.. Then as I spent more time away from that environment I came to like "being bored." My experience with my nervous system is that it takes time for it to settle.. Once at that settled stage I don't want to go back to the heightened stage.. For me that is when my Inner Child/True Self/Higher Power wants to come out and express themselves..

Thats a great perspective that I didn’t think about. Thanks for adding that. I can imagine that was difficult. Thats great that you have achieved that level awareness and regulation though! Everyone, men and women have a feminine and masculine side to them and it’s very important that we balance both of those energies within us to optimize our health and spirituality. When you are slowing down and “being bored” you are tapping into your feminine energy, then able to receive what God, your higher self, your inner child, has for you. At times, meditating feels so easy and natural and sometimes my mind is just racing non stop and it feels so hard to stay quiet. Also, I tend to fall asleep while meditating. What would your advice be when dealing with that?
@RachelNoellesChannel
@RachelNoellesChannel 2 ай бұрын
I totally get it! And that’s completely natural. Don’t be too hard on yourself sometimes when you fall asleep, it’s your body telling you that you need deeper work in that area. Falling asleep is not a bad thing. It can even be more beneficial sometimes because you’re in a deeper state of your subconscious so anything that you were thinking about before you fell asleep, is being programmed into your subconscious at a greater level. Meditating is like working out. It’s hard at first but the more that you do it the quicker your mind stops racing and is able to receive a relax state. I would recommend starting with 5 to 10 minutes and building up every time that you do it. 20 minutes is a good time frame to aim for but sometimes our minds and bodies need longer. Just listen to your body to see what you need.

I recently came into my feminine energy and I realized it because I use to hate the color pink and then really questioned why all of a sudden pink was my favorite color 😂 I also made new girl friends but they're not sober so that's where I struggle in my friendships and relationship, (my boyfriends a smoker and drinker)

By definition, you cannot choose circumstances... but I understand what you are trying to convey. The reality is that other people do control circumstances, and many things are out of our control. I think the root point you're trying to get at is "Only you control how you react to circumstances"... and that definitely affects the OUTCOME of the circumstance you may be involved with. If you are sitting in a parked car, and someone crashed into you... this is a circumstance you cannot control. This is just to serve as one example of what the word circumstance is supposed to communicate.

Yes I always had a hard time understanding that and carried so much shame about my sexuality (despite remaining “pure” until marriage).
