got two boxes of this waiting for me at my LCS. Pretty excited when I do finally get these, and they will be the determining factor as to whether I go after an entire case of series 2. A bunch of good rookies in this class, even for series one there’s probably about 12 people I would like to get a rookie of. Not sure about the whole gaming thing with their inserts. I’m that guy that likes the Candace cards a lot.

Nice sub. PMGs from 20-21 were pretty poor on the QC side from upper deck and often don't meet the size requirements so don't get graded but if you send them back eventually they will get graded at least that's my experience with PSA idk about BGS

I don’t play the Grading game, to be honest I think it’s a bunch of crap and for the most part it’s very subjective. There’s a very good discussion about this topic on Hockey Cards Gongshow podcast not exactly sure what episode, but it puts a lot of things into perspective about the entire situation with Grading cards. Basically it comes down to this, until TAG becomes the king of Grading because it uses computers and the human factor is erased from this entire equation, Grading is pretty much pointless. A pretty good point of fact is that if PSA grades one point something million cards a month, there is absolutely no way in hell that you were gonna have really good accurate grades because that’s just not a realistic goal to have good accuracy and customer service when you have it done by humans that probably don’t know the first thing about Grading and you know they’re skipping a lot of steps just to get crap done and out the door. So people need to start realizing how ridiculous the entire Grading business is. Through no fault of our own we are falling for the crap that is artificially inflating the prices of the cards, while giving very subjective and bad grades. How long it will take for everybody in the hobby to see the reality of this and change things, who knows

I’m not entirely surprised by the PMG. I noticed it in a large percentage of that 20-21 Metal Universe’s base cards. At the very least, I would have expected some sort of grade with an asterisk of sorts. Needless to say that I set the properly sized ones aside.

I had a Beckett slab that same thing happened and just kept banging it on to my table top until it went back to it's original position. Your Beckett order represented 20% of their monthly submissions. As far as PMG's, seen quite a few Altered designations from all grading companies. Anyone grade Net Cords?

Beckett is down in the dumps right now. hopefully they can turn it around but I feel like it will take a lot.
