Um..THANK YOU. I just started and it was taking a LONG time, especially since I’m making art not just trying to resell stock art. I thought maybe I’m too slow and was super discouraged based on how “easy” other KZbinrs made it sound. Now I see it’s supposed to take this long 🙌

This is excellent for those really loose shift dresses that don't have a zipper (i.e., not a dress that you want to take in, because then you couldn't get it on).

This was incredibly helpful. So many great resources from how to utilize ChatGPT during the application phase to using GitHub pages for your portfolio, so valuable. I so appreciate you taking the time to walk us through your process. I am applying for data analyst and non-data analyst roles. The information you shared is truly universal and can be applied broadly. I feel so much better about my job search and applications. Thanks again!

Thank you for normalizing the fact that, because we all have different bodies, it’s rare to find a “plug-n-play” pattern. I always feel self-conscious when I don’t get a project right the first time, but your video reminds me that it’s not so much about “getting it wrong” as a stitcher/patternmaker, or having the “wrong” body as a human, but rather that there’s a puzzle to be solved and that there are collaborators who can help us solve those puzzles. It’s cool to think of all the resources available to help us, whether it’s a forum of makers on Reddit, a book, or perhaps even the person who originally drafted the pattern, if they have the time/bandwidth to respond. In the latter case, a patternmaker certainly has the experience to offer insights about some of the adjustments *they* had to make in order to make the pattern work for them. It’s a nice thought that each of us is uniquely positioned to recognize what does and doesn’t work for our own body, which gives us a kind of expertise to lend to the process as well. I really appreciated your captions which kept updating how much time had been spent on the process as you went. I’m trying to get better about understanding how long it takes for me to do something, and I think it’s easy to think only about how long it took to complete a final draft and to leave out all the R&D that goes into making a final draft a successful one. I’m really happy to find your channel, and I look forward to watching more of your thoughtful and informative videos!

Brittany You sure are right about the Emergency Room. I’ve been going through an extremely scary and life threatening illness for 15 Long Miserable Months. I’m doing my best to get better now but it’s still pretty Tough. Hang In There Brittany. You’re doing much better now. Your Flowers 💐 🌺 🌸 and plants 🌱 are growing Beautiful and Strong!!!😊💞 I have been suicidal off and on since I had Covid19 in November 2021. That Disease harmed me in many many ways and I’m still dealing with it. It literally rocked the Foundation of my Life. It has been extremely traumatizing and yes trauma can cause suicidal thoughts and behaviors. That virus 🦠 was Manufactured!! Personally I believe that almost Everyone on our planet has been traumatized by the pandemic. It’s Beautiful to see someone opening up ⬆️ and sharing their experiences.💞 We All need to open up and discuss our experiences. You Are Not Alone.♥️

♥️New Subscriber!♥️ I’m so sorry that you went through that horrible covid19 experience!! I was working with our veterans with ptsd. Then the pandemic hit. I ran into a young veteran who had just got back from Afghanistan. He was a medic and he was in the grocery store searching for cold medicine for his wife and baby daughter. Of course I helped him. Later that night I started getting sick. I had the Delta Variant and it hit me hard!! I was deathly ill for a month and I still haven’t recovered completely from it. Take good care of you.♥️

Thank you very much! I was in such a confused state and your videos made it all go away! ^.^ Huge relief. By the way, are you afraid of people stealing your art ant reselling it? I'm about to open my printables shop and am considering of at least putting a little signature somewhere? Not that it would help much, but it kinda feels a bit vulnerable to put it out there to download without anything on it.

I found that relationships with younger people who don’t value someone older has a negative impact on the psyche. I’m almost 31 and I know that I’m very accomplished by my definition. A younger group, 10+ years does not appreciate our value.

I’ve been looking for a way to do this forever and all I could seem to find is how to stitch photographs. I use Affinity Photo which is an amazing non-prescription option to photoshop (I’m sure you’re aware of it.) I’m going to try these same principals in it. I admit I’ve always had difficulty understanding masks. Your explanation was really great.

For me (I just turned 40) is that the internet is dominated by 19 year olds. We are DROWNING in 19 year old face filtered women. The only thing that has helped me is to only follow women over 50 online. Now I am inundated with accounts of 60 year old lady boxers and 70 year old lifestyle vlogs, and 50 year old makeup artists. We need to SEE older women living. Because when we do we see there's a LOT that's amazing about getting older.
