Aurora and Phillip are interesting because they're _NOT_ star crossed lovers but spend most of the movie thinking they are. Star crossed means the stars, ie heaven, fate, God, etc., cross you, as in, defy, obstruct, go against. They think they've fallen in love, and the stars have crossed them by making them both betrothed to other people. But then, as they learn, they _were_ the betrothed pair all along. They're star... _ordained_ lovers.

Hi Matt, first off big fan of the channel, I was just wondering with the release of the much anticipated third installment of the 28 days later franchise, 28 years later coming out this year. Just found your excellent video on these great films. AS i scrolled through choices of this subject i found yours. And by chance I was at same time building the Aurora Frankenstein monster kit. Actually, the Monogram Models reissue. And not to far away I had a copy of Famous Monsters Of Filmland laying on the bench. I have watched these movies way too many times to admit. Something I noticed in the first movie, at the beginning during the opening monologue, Linda Mae is shown in a car with someone else...and it's a black car..and the driver is not shown. You see a brief glimpse of the side of his face and a bit of hair and the hair kinda looks like the guy shown listening to the convo in the restaurant when they meet the doctor/psychiatrist. I've always wondered who it was and that maybe it was a boyfriend who found out she was messing around on him with that Sammy fella.
