I think 84 Charing Cross Road would be classified under non-fiction memoir, that kind of thing :) Looks like you had a wonderful bunch of books in September, except "Snore-bital"😝

I think James is going to snatch the Booker this year.🤞🏾

The edition of Frankenstein is from 1818 if I am not mistaken. I read another edition and loved it. One day I would like to read the edition that you have. From what I learned your edition is the full novel. I am reading for victober Ruth by Elizabeth Gaskell.
@BJPDesigns19 сағат бұрын
Those are some good Victorian choices! Another good one is Three Men in a Boat by Jerome Jerome which is full of shenanigans. I think it’s quite funny, and it’s short too.

Apparently there were two novels written about Victorian female detectives in 1864, I'm reading a non-fiction book about Victorian female detectives - now I've been tempted to order those sensation novels, so a couple of page-turners, long forgotten but I think they might be fun. I would recommend 'North and South' by Gaskell, I love that book.

It definitely can be easier to do things alone because you just get up and go. Trying to figure out things with a group can give you a migraine lol but it’s nice to share a memory with others.

Oh, these are an awesome selection of books! Frankenstein is regarded as one of the first science fiction books. It's got it all... a great story with the gothic vibes, and it's great just on that level. But Shelley was questioning what is ethical and questioning how humans play God, imho. I'm reading Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice and I'll be reading Dracula by Bram Stoker later. Loving Interview with the Vampire so far :)

There is nothing wrong with not wanting to go out with others. 4 years ago we were shut in so there’s that. I feel like being on my own more too. You know I’m committed to trying to journal more. I’m thinking about attempting to journal daily in 2025. Thanks for sharing this lovely video and CONGRATULATIONS on your 5 year anniversary!!!!🥂😍❤ You ARE the OG of daily journaling and motivating people to journal daily. I thank you for that!📓🖋️❤️

Yeah I'm glad I watched your review after reading it because if anybody would ask if I recommend it it would be a no. The story was just to all over the place, the character was mad judgy because of her own identity issues,and the end what...what was that? That was worse than the way they left Girlfriends.

Whomp whomp exactly!! It’s hard for me to really separate bad Booker from my current head space. Each to their own at the end of the day. Loads of people as loving it this year. I agree with you though 💤💤❤ Chapter 12 was the best thing about The Safekeep. That was like a 5 star chapter I did like the rest of it but not as much as that chapter. I feel like it would be a great one to re-read ❤️ Glad you enjoyed it! 📚❤️

This was a totally underwhelming year for the Booker. You'll need to read There There before reading Wandering Stars. I think James is going to win. Congratulations!
