Just because I personally think that peeta is too weak as he probably would not have won the 74tg hunger games on his own, beetee is obviously not strong enough to win in hand to hand combat and I think these tributes are too smart to walk into beetee’s trap and for Brutus I just think enobaria could easily kill him if she wanted too, because Brutus just seems stupid

Katniss wouldn't win because her priority is to keep Peeta safe. The capitol wouldn't like Johanna to win as well. Johanna will live long enough for the gamemakers to make capitol citizens hate her even more and root for her death. If it came down to Peeta and Finnick, it depends where they are. I still think Finnick would win especially if he's able to have the final battle with Peeta in the water. My final ranking or order of deaths would be: Finnick, Peeta, Johanna, Enobaria, Brutus, Katniss, Beetee

I would love to see if about the time right before rue died, they pulled a 3rd quarter quell and broke the kids out. Then Thresh, Rue, Clove, Cato, Katniss, Peeta, Foxface, and probably Marvel since he didn’t kill rue, (in this scenario) therefore not getting killed by Katniss, would all survive and the war and stuff would start in the second book. I would love to see it and I think about what it would be like if that happened. That could also mean that we don’t meet Johanna, Finnick, Beetee, etc. And everyone in the 75th hunger games would still be alive. They could also introduce Finnick, Johanna, Beetee, and maybe Wiress when visiting other districts on like official rebel business.

Here's how I think it would go: Katniss would have never not volunteered for Prim, so in this universe, she would either have to be older, dead or on death's door. Nothing would change for Peeta's reaping so it would be Prim and Peeta going into the games. First of all, I think a few things would change. #1: The Careers most likely wouldn't die off so early. Since it was Katniss who dropped the nest on them and killed Glimmer and D4 Girl, and Marvel was killed by Katniss's arrow, they most likely would've made it farther then they originally did in the books. It's also likely that Clove wouldn't have died during the Feast, because since Katniss isn't there, and Katniss was one of the reasons she was killed in the first place. #2: Since the two-winner rule would never be announced, there wouldn't be two winners. I could totally see Rue, Prim, Peeta, and maybe even Foxface, forming an alliance. Although I personally don't think that Rue, Prim, Peeta OR Foxface would win. I would think that the final four would be Foxface, Thresh, Clove and Cato. Cato and Clove would most likely kill Thresh, because since Cato won against Thresh in the first place, I think it's highly unlikely that he could win a fight against TWO Careers. Although, it is possible that one of them would be injured, or even killed, during the fight. Most likely Cato and Clove would also track down and kill Foxface. I feel like the final two would be Clove and Cato, and depending on who gets the upper hand will determine the winner. Cato would win a close range fight, since he's simply just stronger than Clove, but if Clove was able to get away, she could easily take him out with a knife and win. Anyways, sorry this was so long. For the 75th hunger games, I wonder what would happen if there was no male/female victor in a certain district. Say there’s only one victor from district 6, and it’s just a female. How would they get their other district 6 tribute? Would they just pick a random male?

I disagree, there’s no way we’re ever told she’d recognise nightlock. The training centre scene is movie-only and doesn’t even show plants, only outlines and seems to be a matching game. Plus nightlock only grows on the outskirts of district twelve, according to Katniss’s in the books. Also Foxface is described as ‘emaciated’ when the hovercraft takes her body from the arena. If she knew a lot about plants, she’d be better fed and not risk her life stealing from the careers

And considering that Mrs. Everdeen was parent, most people want to take the viewpoint of a 16 year-old girl, who understood even less, until she ended up experiencing depression. I think that the quater quell could be that there will be 48 tributes 24 from the districts 24 from the capitol these children will be trained like careers and the Capitol literally votes on what happens in the arena and possibly at the end if there was both tributes were from the same district then they could vote for them both to win showing that even when the Capitol shows mercy no one can defeat them proven by the war

I think Katniss was too traumatized after Prim's death,( she tried everything to save prim and only managed to give her less then two extra years) to name her child Primrose. In my head cannon cato and clove are siblings or close cousins as nothing is really stated but if they were a couple or not just that they are close. Also I can't imagine them falling in love during the games as they know its only gonna hurt them long term, (katniss and peeta would benefit a lot more from a love story even if one died) or being together at the beginning of the games as they both volunteered and knew only one was coming out. I can see a more Gloss and cashmere relationship between them

I've always been teem Peeta. Gale comes off at too much of a "nice guy" to me. He's her best friend but makes her feel guilty about possibly being interested in Peeta, even though he never made his romantic feelings for her clear. She'd already told him she didn't want to marry at all. He acted like he was "friend zoned" when she just thought he was a real friend, he really had a hidden agenda. And he basically had the same mindset as Snow in that it was okay to kill innocent people for your cause, just not for the other guy to do it. I don't know that Katniss could've lived knowing he felt that way, especially since she'd seen the horror up close and personal. In the end I think Peeta was the good angel on her shoulder and Gale was more of the devil on her shoulder. Prim was also a good angel in her life and kept her grounded, and when she was killed she realized that Gale's way of thinking is what led to to Prim's death. There was no way she could forgive that.

I'm definitely team Peeta. He was just so sweet and what him and Katniss went through was terrible but with it came a bound that she will never have with Gale.

The idea of sponsors not being a thing for the 75th hunger games I think would be unlikely as I recall somewhere in the books it was said that the quarter quells where written when the games where conceived, and betting was not a thing until later on so it would not have been written into the documents, anyways, aside from that they were good!

I think Finnick would have won. Because Peeta and Katniss are a combined deal. Katniss would probably die because snow wants her dead and then Peeta is not that of an interesting story anymore. So then the most popular would be Finnick so he would have won.

Trying to mentoring and failing would mess up with ther star crossing loving act, and Snow would end up killing one of them.

My best guess would be Finnick since he’s a district favourite so the gamemakers wouldn’t interfere plus he could definitely take advantage of the arena in a way the others couldn’t, or if not then Johanna since her emotions wouldn’t interfere in killing the other tributes who she already knew or possibly Enobaria since she’s really skilled and like Finnick wouldn’t have the gamemakers working against her
