I will say. I have found those breaker are junk. They will burn internally and give false readings and bad charging. I use ANL fuses now. 40 amp ANL for charge controllers. 200 ANL for 2000 watt inverter. 30 amp PV breakers for panels. Makes it nice to do maintenance, changes, and testing.

@doingitthegreenway3 ай бұрын
Hey my friend, that’s a lot to process. You need to see what your max pv voltage is for your hybrid inverter. That way you know how many panels you can run in series. Then you also need to know the max amps to determine how many series runs can you parallel before you max out. Where are you from? I just heard of loadshedding, is that where your government cuts the power off everyday at a certain time?

I have a serious question. I have a 48 volt EG4 inverter. I have 8 li time batteries 12volt 100ah. I want to get the most out of the batteries. Can I put all of them in groups of two in parallel (12 volt 200ah) each., then take the four groups and divide them into two groups in series (24 volt 200ah) Then, put the two groups into series to get 48 volt 400 ah. at 19,200 watt hours? It sounds good to me, but I don't know enough about it. If this is possible, where can I find the warring diagram? I would really appreciate any help.
@doingitthegreenway5 ай бұрын
From my understanding it’s best to make as many parallel runs as possible first, then series. So if you have 16 12v 100ah batteries, you would stack 4 vertically in parallel to make a 12v 400ah bank. Do that 4 times and let them balance. Then wire each row horizontally in series to make 48v 400ah (20kwh) battery bank. Wire each 48v negative to a single bus bar then from bus bar to battery shunt. On each of the 48v positive side I suggest running them to their own class t fuses before the buss bar. Hope that helps.
