Hi Travis, I think its normal youre numbers are a bit lower then usual. Youre in a full transitioning period from ebay to bricklink. Ive been watching you for more then a year now and you have so much more bricklink orders and a higher average value per order then a year ago. And with bricklink being a slow game, you just keep uploading and youre bricklink numbers will slowly rise as well :), youre on the good track!

Do you test all your video games? If not, how do you list them? I have tons of video games, but I don’t have the consoles to test them with. Does this make them less valuable?
@TravisMarsala3 күн бұрын
I test MOST of them. Cartridges (nes, snes, etc) - absolutely. Discs - theoretically if there are no scratches and they look practically brand new, you can post them untested (and tbh, if they're lower value games, I will go this route. If it's a higher value game, I'll pop it in and make sure).

You got this, btw. Seriously. Focusing on the backlog during these cold months will pay off, even if not till later. Just paying off mentally for you to be able to not see the large "death pile" day in and day out. Slow and steady progress is key. I suffer from a giant backlog [and don't have an overspending issue, just had a "I don't wanna work on this" issue for months and months]. It is demoralizing to say the least, to feel that weight of the death pile. But once you start to carve away at it and see the progress, it will make you feel better. And of course, that's all money in them there boxes. ;)

I do love number games and looking at financial projections, but lets say weekends and around 15 days are taken off for the year, the actual posting of sales would be around $150 per day instead of $100. If you keep this in mind and set aside days for holidays or special occasions, like birthdays, it will help your mindset on setting goals for sales in the longhaul.
@TravisMarsala4 күн бұрын
Yup. The goal is just to average $100 a day, not necessarily to post that every single day.

Would you ever add up the approximate value of your clone collection? As a LEGO fan and reseller myself, it’s always a constant battle of wanting to keep minifigures or selling them. I sometimes keep clones for a little but then sell them during slow months as they are often the most valuable part of minifig hauls

Those bootleg figures has me wary of that bulk buy, especially considering there's knockoff stuff in the random part bins. Hopefully the figs are worth 700 when they're all posted

Honestly that was my feeling too. If this person was a reseller like they said, they wouldn't have those fake figs in there, and Mega stuff would be been separated. But also seeing one armed torsos and stuff gave me a very bad feeling about this buy. I am glad I was wrong and you've already got $600 for the haul!

Had one of those no remark moments the other day too. An oddball piece, and I uploaded it ages ago and had no clue where I would have put it. I looked for a while but ultimately it wasn't worth it for a 30 cent piece. The buyer was cool, they had placed a big order. But I totally get that feeling of being annoyed with yourself over simple mistakes that cause a hassle down the line. Trying to get more minifigures into the store - it's a lot of work, but worth it. You're doing a great job, keep up the good work!
