The best way would be to have a rocket mass heater for heating and cooking. You can run copper tube to heat water pumped to a tank. You can also port the exhaust directly into a generator running on the wood gas for electricity.

The only thing I strongly dislike is drywall in a log home. A log home is logs, blnot drywalled.

Hola, acá en argentina hay una casa parecida a está, está echa totalmente en cemento con piedras y fue construida en 1943 al 1945 creo, está puesta sobre una basé semi sircular y columnas.se llamá "la casa sobré el arroyo"en mar del plata.argentina.
