Mark King is without doubt one of the most gifted bassists ever. Not only does he play the bass like he does, but to sing aswell, just takes him to another level all together. Total respect to a legend that has stood the test of time. ✊🙏👍✊🙏👍

I remember watching this live over 7 very long years ago, and always have a really big grin on my face when I saw that ticket of them live in Kent in Dartford in 1982 at Flicks-Discotheque they had already been on TV/radio by this time in late 1982 + had a minor hit with Love Games in UK just getting top 40 but was a big hit in: Belgium, The Netherlands, Sweden, + Denmark getting top 10/20! My aunty/aucle went there and still have the tickets and some pics 😎 Then it turned to Zens in 1986 till 2006 then to Air + Breathe + then to Atik in 2014 and closed a few months ago as Atik had to close most of their clubs that went into liquidation-and only 4 are left when there used to be over 30 + in UK....

Controversial comment, but I just don’t get why so many people gush over this bass tone - it sounds so naff. Compared to the Alembics from ‘88 onwards, it’s like night and day. Fair play to MK, this song is an absolute beast to play. Bravo.

I do remember this video played a lot on MTV. When I read on Wikipedia that the same actress played both or 3 of their girlfriends, I had to see this again just now. Either she was a different character each time, she wore something different with each guy, or maybe it was in her perspective she went through heartbreaks with each guy and felt uncertain which guy was right for her.
