Hey Aves... Got to admit, I'm eating my words on Reaves! I hated him when he was pre-Leaf and playing like a goon. It seemed to me like he was talentless and just out to hurt players! I'm man enough to admit he's gained a fan! His hits are hard but clean, and not players taken off the ice on stretchers stupid! Ok, I didn’t see this game, so I just looked up the size difference between Liljegren & Marchand; Liljegren is 6’1”, 190 lbs. & Marchand is 5’9”, 176 lbs … is there some reason why Liljegren couldn’t stick up for himself against a much smaller guy, & instead needed a throwback goon like Reeves to fight his battles for him?! I know you said Liljegren is 1 of the more important defensemen for the Leafs, but the same goes for Marchand as a forward for the Bruins … & did I mention that Marchand is 5’9”?! If Liljegren can’t muster the courage to throw down w a much smaller guy - like every other player has done when they had a problem w Marchand - I’d say he’s got much bigger concerns than Ryan Reeves can handle for him! oh, yeah, I even heard Mark Messier about 2 weeks ago say Kuch is the best in the NHL today. I was actually kind of shocked, because the mainstream media don't even like to mention Kuch, except to say he failed in all-stars. I watched some of the all stars and it looked like Kuch couldn't give a damn. Like the whole thing was stupid to him.

I'm a TB fan and watch every game. And every game I'm like how did he do that???? it's all the little things that make him great. He would rather get the assist than the goal. If it wasn't for Kuch and Hagel who is another absolutely amazing player, the Lightning would be in dead last. Almost every goal starts with one of these two guy doing something incredible. I think you nailed it. He is the whole package and that is hard to teach. I just wish tamps D-men would study this guy and learn how to pass and handle the puck

I agree I love watching it, it’s fun but the other night it was embarrassing seeing the only logo being a W with different colors. Give them mascots give their team’s individual logos, something to put on merch to make money. It’s hard to invest and contribute to their success when they only give us a city name to root for. It was great hockey while watching though i just see a flaw in how they’ll get rewarded for their great play
