I had heard that Victorinox had broken their 84mm scissor machine and made the discussion to not repair/replace it many years ago. That’s why it’s no longer offered. As far as the EMS logo, it might be for “Eastern Mountain Sports”. They are similar an REI type company based in the Northeast.

Great find in great condition 👍 Got too love the older models. I have an Artisan from the same time period, also have the matching Fieldmaster 91mm it has the saw in the same order as the Artisan. Wow thanks for showing the Bean version 9721. I still have the box and papers that in came in. As I said I have a beautiful vintage watch collection, but I feel funny leaving the house with out this watch on my wrist. Also, Since wearing it on an inexpensive black leather band purchased at Walmart of all places, the watch gets noticed all the time. I've had many people ask me what kind of watch an I wearing . I've tried the beige canvas Barton straps. I loved the look but they tear and if you try to gently clean them they rip very easily and look dirty. So I purchased an inexpensive black leather strap at Walmart and so far its held up incredibly well in all the heat and humidity. I even sleep with the watch on.
